Great home cooked food in the heart of Dunston Gateshead, if you want a sausage or bacon &egg sandwich or a pasty or two then you will not find better than Barry's. Great coffee too.
Staff are ok; products are better than greggs.Breakfast sandwich has a funny name Special in Double Scotch......prices are fairLed to be believe this will be changing ownership soon may be time for a change as its a pretty basic set up.

Nice to have a local alternative to the big chains. Sandwiches are nice. You have to pay in cash though. No cards accepted. Nearly every time I’ve been in I’ve seen a customer walk away because of this strange policy. It’s 2023 and many people don’t carry cash anymore so it would be a great improvement if they would start to accept card payments.
