Echt een typisch Engelse pub, met traditionele inrichting en een behoorlijk traditionele kaart. Was lastig kiezen maar gelukkig hadden ze ook wat gangbare gerechten. De hamburger was zeer smakelijk.

We were lucky enough to have visited Newcastle recently. This restaurant was on our list to visit, and wow it didn't disappoint. Simply one of the best meals we have eaten. You could pay double and still not get better. Thank you for a lovely meal, we will be back.

Nice place to go for Mother’s Day lunch, lamb shoulder was tender and excellent as was the Yorkshire pudding. Left feeling full and for the quality of food it was fairly good value, choice and included amount of sides good have been better. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming however the dessert portion was very much on the smaller

4 people for dinner. Interesting menu, everyone enjoyed their food. Good cooking. Only down side was that we waited nearly an hour for food, but it was a busy service.

Great place great service great atmosphere, staff were really friendly and accomodating, didn't demand a tip. Although due to this we fealt they deserved it, this is how all restaurants should be.100% will be back there.

Rump steak Burger was very good ; it could have been excellent with just a little more attention to detail. The chips were a little anaemic, and the onion rings, bought as an additional side, were too oily to be pleasant. I did eat them but I regretted it later. Consider using a different type of bun for the burger, perhaps something with a local origin.
