We went there for a drink and it was really lovely. Apparently it is one of the oldest bars in Tynemouth but newly renovated. It looks really good and the have a great selection of different drinks and beers. The toilets are also new and well kept. I can definitely recommend Cumberlands Arms Tynemouth for a drink.

Had a booking for 7 for a birthday, was pleased to see a gluten free menu as one of the party has intolerances. Very busy pub would definitely be back.

Was fine last time but the food came with side salad which we asked without, the lady said she would make a FRESH one but it was the same one but without salad (still had butter on) and she’d went against her word.If I’d eaten this I would have had allergic reaction and I will be reporting this to the FSA

I like what they have done with the place since its latest closure and reopening. Staff great, food options decent but £6.10 for a pint of shandy!....won't be rushing
