17 Front St, Tynemouth, North ShieldsA good location in the main street of Tynemouth. Nice vibes, a bit modern as a pub. I just popped in for a few pints. Good selection of ales. A good place to watch sports. I didn't feel too welcome at the bar, to be honest, but no worries. The person in the bar was busy talking to others and just served me and ignoring me at the same time. Anyway, I wouldn't mind coming back to this pub. Seams to be a pub for the locals.

63 Front St, Tynemouth, North ShieldsOoh my goodness; I can't speak highly enough of here, it was perfect! We booked so easy, the staff were excelent, the girl who looked after our table was amazing, she kept coming back to order drinks for us,I couldn't speak highly enough of her- great at her job!
Everyone was happy with the food, they even let us squeeze an extra person in, in the last hour, atmosphere was lovely, price was reasonable- great for what we had to be fair! Support the local pubs so they stay open- top class!
We had organised a bottomless brunch for a leaving do and we all had a great time!
Fantastic- would highly recommend it and will definately be going again!

When my partner goes into the shop she is always greeted with pure politeness and receives a fantastic service.
Food is always very hot and cooked well.

24 Nile St, North ShieldsUsed to use this place years ago but moved to spice bay. They were closed today so decided to use a passage to India. We were not disappointed beautiful food. They were late for the delivery but rang us to update us and threw in some free pompoms. Excellent food and service.

10-11 Union Quay, North ShieldsAbsolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The food was outstanding. every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented, but what truly made the night special was the service.
The young man with curly hair (aged 16 Mario mentioned) was an absolute star, attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best time. Mario was just as fantastic, bringing great energy, quick service, and a warm sense of humor that made us feel completely at home.
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are this exceptional. Huge thanks to both of them for making our visit unforgettable. We’ll definitely be coming back. highly recommend!

U8, The Beacon Centre, 40 Bedford St, North ShieldsA taste of Tyneside. Highly recommended for stotty cake, peach melba, custard donuts, meat and vegetable and cheese pasties. Coffee is cheap and cheerful and a total bargain. Eat in or takeaway. As despised by all Guardian readers.

Dove House, 5 John St, Cullercoats, North ShieldsGood choice of food options. I chose a pizza as they say they do the best pizza around and I wasn't disappointed. I also had a portion of chips and although they were deep fried they were not greasy at all. Check the price as they tried to over charge me.

It was licking out of a paper cup in the table, no staff told the owner it should be on the floor not the seats that people sit on.!! Once the people left nobody cleaned the table or the seat that the dog was sitting on!. Not very hygienic & not happy..

Only 1 negative point ? The ambient temperature in the venue was a little cold !

51 W Percy St, North ShieldsThis is my first time ever writing a review. Today was my brothers birthday. I dont live in the UK, so I called to place an order to be delivered as a surprise for my brother, ( I am technically challenged so wanted to speak to someone) A gentleman answered and I explained what I was doing, I placed the order but for some reason it wouldn't take my card. So he told me just to place the order on line and he would keep an eye open for. I believe he said his name was Sean/Shaun. He even asked if I wanted to put a message in for my brother ( which I did) . My brother received the order and said it was delicious, house Kebab and pizza.
I have to say I was really impressed by Sean/Shaun kindness and patience. When ever I am back home I will definitely be placing more orders.

They have a £30 tapas deal on, which is 3 plates and 2 glasses of wine for £30. Really good and the tapas was excellent. They also sell the paintings on the wall, which is interesting.

Hotspur St, Tynemouth, North ShieldsNice comfortable venue with a good atmosphere with a varied drinks menu on offer , food was nice, albeit smallish portions , 4 of us had 1 Beef , 1 Fish and Chips, 1 Pork and 1 Prawn Cocktail with Skin on Fries , probably just the Sunday lunch that was on the small side but all was enjoyable in a really nice atmosphere.

Always used to be super busy. £5.65 for a pint of Timothy Taylor's is also getting a bit steep in my view...which might be linked to decreasing numbers of people out on a Saturday night in Tynemouth generally...it's just getting too expensive.

The place is cosy and spacious. The staff were efficient and polite.
We mostly had tapas dishes including the truffle parmesan fries, prawns, patatas bravas, padron peppers and korean chicken.
The chicken batter went soggy due to the sauce coating them. The sauce was very enjoyable until the spice kicked in. The sauce was 'Sweet Korean' so I didn't expect them to be hot and the menu should state that. I don't enjoy spicy food so that significantly lowered my enjoyment of my food unfortunately.
My Dad had the sausage sandwich which came with plenty of caramelised onions and nice chunky chips. He was really happy with his choice.
Overall it was decent value and good quality food.

The Cannon Inn, Coast Rd, North ShieldsNot been to a buffet in years and needed feeding in a hurry.
Really good selection of food. Had it come in a takeaway wouldn't have noticed a difference. Was good to have both sweet and sour pork aswell as chicken.
Salt an pepper wings could have done with a few extras like the chilli and onions.
Drinks well priced and service very good..
For the price and convenience epileptic definitely recommend.
P.s you can get to a second carpark via a street around the back of the resturaunt. Front one of duel carriageway fills up very very fast.

Brewhouse Bank, North ShieldsI have been to Low lights Tavern quite a few times and sampled all their pies! The food is top quality and have never been disappointed! Today I had my favourite, steak and ale pie with chips and gravy. It was absolutely delicious! Staff are really friendly greeting you with a smile! Service is quick and easy. I Would definitely recommend!!
