Average at best. Third and final time I’ve tried this place. I don’t like to judge on just one try but after three it’s sealed it’s own fate. Starters and Poppadoms are quite easy to do to a decent standard, but the curries themselves take a bit more care to get some depth of flavour. Sadly the curries here must be built up from a very very average base sauce. Almost like a vegetable soup as opposed to a curry base. Just poor stuff. Plenty better to try in North Tyneside. The paneer methi and chicken tikka jal balti we more or less identical tasting apart from inclusion of dried methi. The rice and chips were ok but not enough to save the meal. Try somewhere else unless you just want quantity.

Fantastic food. We ate in instead of take away, after being made to feel very welcome. This is a Bring Your Own alcohol but really it shouldn’t stop you dining there.

Had 3 amazing main meals, chicken sag, chicken tikka masala, and lamb dansak however be warned £3.90 for a small mushroom pilaw rice is ridiculous only enough rice for 1. Such a shame as otherwise a great meal.

Rude, incomplete order, offensive customer service when asking for refund for missing meal. I was told refund would be in my account in a few hours, we are talking £5.10. Frustrated but what can you do.... No refund has been processed. However, when I called tonight to ask why I am still without my meal or a refund they told me they had delivered the missing meal to my address. THEY HAD NOT. We asked them to identify the cars at our property or the equipment they passed to get to my front door, all easy to identify. They could not identify my cars or the stuff in my garden. Called out on their blatant lies. Dear God why would anyone looking lie over £5.10? It is the most immature/pathetic service and communication I have had in a long time with an adult. The meal we did get was mediocre at best, that with customer service means we won't use them again and once we've shared our review most of North Shields will also avoid. Management need to review situation asap or the custom they will loose will be far more than £5.10
ordered a takeaway picked it up when we got home found part of the order was missing and the nan bread was not garlic phoned them up and got harsh response saying they would refund the difference to my card then they changed their mind and said they would deliver the missing food but they never arrived spoke to them the next day and they said the missing food was delivered but we did not receive it he spoke to his delivery driver who said it was delivered i asked hime what car did he have to pass in order to get to the door and what colour he could not answer that it could not be missed you have to trip over the car to get to the door i asked what was on the roof rack of the car he would have had to park behind once again no answer so i said again please refund the difference but was told no suck arrogance i wish i had read the reviews before ordering

Never ever will order from this place! Most arrogant and very nasty attitude of the owner. I called them to check if the food is spicy not sweet because Bangladeshi takes the name of Indian take away but food they prepare is Bangladeshi style. And the owner spoke and confirmed me that my orders are not have no sweet dishes and guess what? When I receive the food it was sweet and disgusting. Called the restaurant back and the owner said to me that I thought you were referring to one dish not the others and with arrogant attitude saying it was my fault coz I order. How that can be my fault when you already admitted that you thought for one order and I was very specific that my order shouldn't be anything sweet. And then started shouting and asking to complain via deliveroo not them.I really hope and wish many customers to see this review and make yourself aware that owner attitude is diabolic and you don't speak to customer that way when you admitted it was your fault but blaming customer.Big ashame that they take the Indian Takeaway name but the the people and food is Bangladeshi so be who you are and don't be ashamed of your originality.Will never ever order the food again from this place.
