Ordered from Uber eats and scheduled the delivery ahead of time. Waited 30 mins after the delivery time and called the restaurant who said it would be being delivered next. Waited an hour after the delivery time just for the restaurant to cancel the order.Don’t bother ordering from this place as you’ll be disappointed

Not pleasant. Sorry, but you need to make serious improvements to your food. A double cheeseburger was clearly warmed up in the microwave and not edible. The wrap wasn't too bad but the chips didn't taste right at all. You need to consider preparing fresh food.

Food arrived on time but packaging was wet, food was soggy and tasteless. Batter was cakey and the fish fell apart into tiny bits which made it difficult to pick up with a fork. Spent over £20 for 2 people and we were left feeling very disappointed as most most of it went in the bin.

My boyfriend Ordered fish and chips with curry and mushy peas, both sauces were really watery, batter on fish was gewy (half cooked) although the fish itself was very nice once all the batter was removed. I myself ordered smokey, chips and gravy, again gravy was watery and tasteless, chips tasted old. I enjoyed the smokey and bottle of tango, thats about it. Would expect better for a £30.00 order.

Just purchased a kebab meat and chip special with chilli sauce. Food not the best but average. The issue that got me was that the two orders after me also ordered specials off the board (they were both asked if they got their pop from the fridge, as this is included in the total cost - I was not asked, so I ask why I was not asked as my money is as equal value to others), I understand if this comes across as petty, however, you should treat all of your customers the same. I Would like an explanation as to why I didn't get the same service, I was also more polite to staff when ordering, so it does not make sense. Customer service like this is a sure fire way of losing custom, I am sure you are not able to do so, more so in the cost of living crisis!! Would have posted a more positive review and scored you higher if I was treat as an equal.

Haven't used Golden fryCrawcrook for months as the owners wife is extremely rude and the fish is covered in soggybatter, chips white. We thought we would try again, I stated when placing my order that i would like the batter crispy, the response was we will see what we can do.unfortunatly no better at all.Defeats the purpose of atakeaway when you haverecook your food in the airfryerWill not be trying a third time.

Fish was very good but chips were disgusting. Barely warm & we got all the scraps. Admittedly it was almost closing time but not what anyone would expect, especially at the price of food today. Chucked most chips in the bin, very disappointed, as we are just recovering from Covid & were looking forward to our takeaway. (Our grandaughter collected them for us)
