There's an outstanding selection of beers (AF too), some wonderfully friendly staff, they're dog friendly (kid friendly too) and have outdoor spaces for those sunny days.They regularly host open mic nights, comedy nights and have a selection of food vendors most weekends.I'm certain you would struggle to find a better establishment!

4, 5 Main St, RytonCalled in a few nights ago with m6 daughter. 1st time we'd been. Small but friendly. Nice atmosphere, saw a few old friends, enjoyed ourselves will be going back.

Kathleen's Coffee Shop
Unit 2 Lane Head, RytonAbsolutely great venue to meet up with family members. The breakfasts were superb and the breakfast sandwiches were so filling. The staff could not have done anything else in making our visit so perfect. I would certainly recommend Kathleen’s Coffee Shop to friends and family.☕️?? I will definitely return and try out there cakes and scones.Parking: Could do with a larger car park.

6 Elvaston Rd, Ryton Village, RytonOutstanding independent little cafe in Ryton village. The bacon and cream cheese bagel is lovely, and really good quality. The coffees are right up there with the best I've had. I'd highly recommend No. 6.

Newcastle upon Tyne, RytonFood is cooked and prept to order and at very reasonable prices. Also the staff are very friendly even when under pressure!Vegetarian options: Had for a change from bacon etc. Was a good meal..3 egg..3 hash browns.. mushroom..beans...tinned tomatoes.. toast.

Lead Rd, Greenside, RytonWhats not to like, fish always fresh, batter crunchy, chips brilliant, I have been going here weekly for years. As every thing is cooked fresh you need to shout in your order as you go through the door before joining the queue.

Lambs Arms Inn
Lambs Arms Buildings, Crawcrook, RytonTurned up for wake without informing pub. We got first class treatment from staff and locals. They even refused a tip despite catering for our every need. Bar maid was class. Thank you very much, you help us celebrate my mams life and showed so much respect.

Lane Head, RytonThe food is outstanding and very fresh and tasty. The surroundings are intimate and cosy. The service was excellent. A wide choice of dishes and you can bring your own alcohol. Recommend the Chicken Ceylon and house special pilau rice and garlic naan.

Leonardos Pizza And Kebab
Lambs Arms Buildings, Crawcrook, RytonBeen using Leonardo’s for many years and don’t get me wrong there has been ups and downs, the last few month everything we have ordered has been delicious, hot and the delivery service is the best around! We have also started using the Leonardo’s app Saving us money rather than using Just eat and doing it this way we normally end up with a free item which means it brings the cost down a little further. A couple of weeks back a large bottle of pop was missed off but it was the last order of the night so we couldn’t get in touch with the shop, I contacted them the next day and without any argument they added the pop to our next order.

The Runhead
Holburn La, RytonThis was our first visit to the Runhead, tempted by the £5 pizza offer. We weren't disappointed, the pizzas were lovely and amazing value. There is also an excellent selection of beers. We'll definitely be back.

Golden Fry Chip Shop
