Tried ordering from just eat from the cafe, dispite loads items not available I eventually picked from what was available only for the order not to be accepted. Do you offer this service or not?

Car parking is a joke now with the machines, only one in the underground car park with people waiting to use it. Why not have more machines?

First time I have used this Asda as called after attending south Shields hospital for the first time. I have a blue badge which I displayed parked in disabled bay so was surprised to receive a £70 parking charge today. First time I've ever been to an Asda store that charges you to park to shop in the store have appealed but if I'm charged will be last time I shop in Asda

Be aware that this a badly advertised pay and display car park. You will get a parking fine, or 2 parking fines in our case after visiting the store twice in one week.

Had accident on travellator when shopping trolley tipped over onto me knocking me onto the travellator with contents of trolley spilling out and next customer s trolley coming into me couldnt get up due to coat being trapped in travellator grill. 70 yrs old very traumatic experience and I am aware other customers hav e experienced issues with sticking of trolleys but what really annoys me is that for a week I had pain and discomfort and no one from asda had the courtesy to ask of I was ok

I took my family for a holiday to south shields and decided to do some shopping at Asda. to my great surprise I received a parking fine for £70 reduced to £40 if paid in 14 days. In Birmingham All Asda parking is free I assumed That this would be free.I thought I will pay the £40 fine only to find out that they are using a very clever CON to catch you out so that you pay them £70. The date of the issue is 07/08/2023 and they don't post it out till the 16th of August, I didn't get it until 21st of August so by the time I got the parking fine it was already 14 days.Asda is a part of this CON otherwise they wouldn't employ a con company like Parkingeye. You could be rest assured that I will never shop at Asda again.

this asda is my go to supermarket and has been for about a decade but the parking issues are making me want to start shopping elsewhere, i cant even pop in for 10 minutes without being fined for not paying for a ticket. along with this the past month all the machines have stopped working properly and wont accept card. i had no cash yesterday and had to contact parking eye directly to ask them to not fine me. it really shouldnt be such an ordeal to do a 20 minute food shop should it? please contact the council on this issue and ask them to rethink this installation as its not going to help anyone in the long run. i'm going to start going elsewhere.

Didn't know that the car park is not free, so now have a £70 fine. Why do you charge customers. Will never use the store again.Reply to response below: fair enough reply from ASDA, but I have not kept any food receipts (who does) and have now paid the fine. I'll just use stores that don't charge their customers when parking - thanks anyway.
A big Thankyou to Christine on security and Karen for going beyond their job remit and assisting me with a large item that I purchased

Shopping in store is fine. However paying for the car park is an absolute nightmare. The ticket machines are so unreliable. I had to try several today before I found one working which was not mech fun in the pouring rain. Once all the machines were off and customers were advised to hand car registrations in at customer service. However, we still recieved a parking ticket. May start shopping at anothet store to save the hassle and stress.

I received a parking fine 3 MONTHS after parking there. I no longer have the ticket and face a time wasting complaint with Parking eye & POPLA. I wont be back to Asda. A terrible way to treat your customers!

Couldn’t go in the store because when I tried to pay for the car park on 2 different machines it wouldn’t accept cards, and I didn’t have coins as no body would expect to pay for using a supermarket’s car park!!
