Used to be a decent chippy back in the day under the previous owners with decent food and atmosphere with really fair pricing for their customers.Since the new ownership prices have shot up it's as expensive as any pizza shop in shields right now with no Justification for it as the food has declined or not improved at all and there's just an overal miserable atmosphere about the place.I used to get tikka wraps from here all the time under previous ownership but these new owners reheat their chicken in the microwave instead off the grill like previous owners and charge you more for it. Just one example of prices going up but the quality of food going down.Cant imagine many locals use this chippy anymore due to the prices. Just a shame to see what's become off a once really decent local chippy.

The old lady who keeps shouting in the background when placing your order on the phone has the worst attitude.What she fails to remember is that your customers are your bread and butter love,so sort it out as it sounds like it's rubbing off on your staff.The food is average and the delivery driver's always polite and on time.I still think the food is overpriced, and now considering spending our money somewhere else.

Haven't been to Marys in about 10 years as I moved away, saw they was on uber eats recently and I can honestly say the quality of food hasn't changed. Amazing fish, the chips were cooked to perfection. Definitely the best fish and chip shop around.Vegetarian options: Fish is incredible

Ok so this is quite simple you order a wrap choices chips or salad, so i ask for salad order arrives 2 x wrap 1 x chips garlic mayo and chllli sauce nearly £30 however no tomatoes no lettuce no cucumbers no onions, only cheap red cabbage in wrap.. I just left my regular takeaway because of this only to find the same thing happening here, you tight selfish takeaways you over charge and can't even put a basic salad in the wrap... Stop being bloudy tight, if you won't put it in the wrap then say so.. Dissapointed i will not order from here again..

Very good value,good size portions (too much for some), the lady that has served me (4 times) is very friendly and the food has always been delicious

What a place! The staff are absolutely lovely. The food was astounding. I must admit it was my 1st visit, but it will not be my last. We had fish, chips, battered sausage, fish cake and pizza. Not a fault with anything. Proper size portions!Vegetarian options: Had a veggie pizza. It was the best I've had. Dominos are not a patch on the pizza I had from Mary's.Parking: There's some free parking right next to the shop. But it's in the middle of a housing estate. It's walking distance for a lot of people.

The burger was nice apart from the edges a bit hard but it will pass, the chips were warm but very nice and the garlic sauce was nice not to strong but over all decent chip shop 8/10
