As we walk in (party of 4) couldn't help put notice a waiter looking at his watch, even though it was only 8.30ish. Which made us think that we would be rushed and unable to enjoy the meal. So we left.

Had heard good things. So ordered from here on deliveroo. Curry went in the bin. Had a layer of grease across the top of it. Had a few spoonfuls but it was all I could taste, was disgusting. I was Very disappointing and Wouldn't order from here again.

We were recommended to try this place while working in the area. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food was amazing. I had the veggie Thali and I wasn't disappointed, tasty and very generous portions.

Decor good.Housekeeping good.Service good.Food good & well presented.Only downside was the table we had was cool. Don't know if other parts of the restaurant were warmer.

I ordered a tikka starter when it arrived the presentation of the meal looked good but that’s where it went down hill for me, the chicken was incredibly soft then chewy in places, it was like nothing I have tasted before and not in a good way, I’ve had better cooked chicken in Durham prison. It was very bland . I then had the chicken tikka masala, again the chicken wasn’t very nice to the point I left half of it as it was rank. The naan breads were very greasy and damp in places, again never had a naan like it, it was like someone had ejaculated on to it. YUCK. The waiter came over and I asked for a drink, by the look on his face I could tell he couldn’t understand a word of English thus I never received my drink. I went to the toilet only to find a toilet roll covered in speckles of faeces, mmmm really got me in the mood for my curry. YUCK. When the bill came it was very confusing as no one could understand the handwriting and for the drinks it just said ‘drinks’ there was no way of checking if we were overcharged. Sneaky. All in all it’s one of the worst curries I’ve ever had, really wish I hadn’t crossed the road as all the others are probably much better. I mean it wouldn’t take much. A blind tramp with a frying pan could do better.

Wow, have been visiting Shields for years and never had a meal here. This will now be my go to place. The food was amazing, very nice staff and very reasonable prices. Really good night.
