Walked from Seaburn and got hungry. Stumbled across this gem. Had an interesting discussion on what scraps/batter/crackling/bits called. Very tasty well cooked fish bites (good sized pieces) and chips. Washed down with great ales at nearby Blues Micropub where you can take in your takeaway.

First time visit for a day off. Quaint area. Really friendly and welcoming. Lush fish and chips crispy batter, not too greasy, good portion size!

An off the road gem of a place. Madasafish has been consistently one of the very best fish and chip takeaways in the Sunderland/Whitburn area. The staff are always friendly - feels like a proper community takeaway. They always have time for a natter. The food is excellent too - the cod is without doubt the best in the area by quite a country mile - and the portions are very generous. Good menu range and a pizza menu too - all pizzas cooked to order (as is the fish when I have been). When I have family visiting from out of town, this is our go to takeaway - and they all love it. It's a pleasure to frequent!

Very friendly,pizza was lovely,fish and chips were nice proper chips and fish cooked whilst there, I would have give 5 stars if there had been disabled access, although I know that is not shops fault so I will now give the 5 stars, maybe put a doorbell so if disabled, elderly etc that can't manage the steps can ring the bell to notify staff so they can take there order, just an idea and then you wouldn't loose business if anything it would increase it. Keep up the good work can't fault your food it is lovely.Wheelchair accessibility: There isn't any unfortunately but door is always open just ask and they will come and take your order
