I am in the Grange every weekend with my friends and our dogs. Over the time we have been going, Laura and every member of staff have been amazing with my friends and our dogs. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, they always make us feel welcome and at home. We have had Christmas parties and dog birthday parties, at times we have had up to 14 dogs in our group. All of the staff are amazing, nothing is a bother to them. My dog passed away two weeks ago and I came to meet my friends far coffee, to find that Laura, the manager had put up a plaque in memory of my dog Patch she also had a plaque made for our friends dog Frank. To me this is the sign of a great, friendly and caring manager. I will be forever grateful for the care and sensitivity shown by Laura and her staff.Parking: The parking is free, all we have to do is put in our registration number.Kid-friendliness: There are a lot of children come into the Grange, the staff are always helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Our dog walking group have been meeting at The Grange for over a year and from day one all of the staff go above and beyond to make us all welcome....where we have birthday and Christmas parties for our dogs. Fantastic service reserving our tables...having water bowls ready for dogs...keeping chef busy cooking their chicken fillets which they love :)The food is outstanding...look forward to weekend breakfasts all week :)Couldn't wish for a better place to meet....the staff are totally amazing :)Parking: Plenty of parking

This Pub has had the same problem for 20 years lack of staff. This should be the best eating and drinking venue in Sunderland for location.Hope the few staff who work there are very well paid for the hard work they do. Please get a couple more staff you might get all the locals back .???

Sizzling grilled chicken ( the veggies were over cooked and chicken was hard) but the fries were good! Chicken and mushroom pie ( the pastry was hard). Staff were lovely ad accomodating. Mocktail was good too.

No gluten free food in 2024 (an intolerance). But a full menu for vegan food (a choice).Pathetic. The manager (without hair, so we’re clear who he is) looked at me like I was ill.Pathetic. Do better.

Tried the new menu tonight. Can definitely recommend the Greek burger and dirty fries. Rounded off with a mini dessert, salted caramel profiteroles and a Latte. Excellent service as normal.Lovely atmosphere wonderful staffFood lovely Tried the festive burger delicious
We both had the hunters chicken iwas burnt on the bottom which made it tough to eat reasonably priced but poor quality won't be back.Parking: Must remember to put your reg into computer parking eye machine on entry or you will be fined.Wheelchair accessibility: Top lounge wheelchair accessible

Thought I’d give the grange a try and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Chinese style pork belly skillet which was absolutely mouthwatering the only complaint was there wasn’t more on the plate. Floor staff are very helpful and made my visit even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning

Popped in for drinks with a couple of friends, staff really friendly and a good atmosphere. Did not try the food but the orders coming out to other tables looked delicious - we are definately going to go back for food and drinks.
