Excellent unspoilt traditional pub with good quality wines, spirits and real ales served by friendly and efficient staff. A very atmospheric experience created by the surroundings and the local people who frequent this gem.

Great little pub in Whitburn Village. There are 3 small rooms and an outdoor area with tables which is great and very popular when it's sunny.

A great old pub, with a great history, which can be seen in the photos on the walls. It's cosy, but a brilliant pub. A decent selection of drinks on offer and has seating in/outdoors. There's a television above the bar which shows tv and sports. Great for watching the local match and having a pint! The owners are always welcoming and have a tale to tell at times if you get talking.....ask them about the poltergeist upstairs....although you may not get them talking about it! The pub welcomes dogs too. Never a bother, more the merrier. Definitely worth a visit and a refreshment. ....take it from a local.

Friendly staff, happy to go above and beyond to get us the beers we desire (the youngen came in when he wasn't on shift to change a barrel so we could have some wife beater)

Really friendly pub serving superb real ales including my absolute favourite Timothy Taylor landlord. Friendly regulars make you welcome and a great atmosphere for a few drinks and good craic. An absolute face of ours.
