This shop is always busy. They offer basic good quality food and have indoor/outdoor facilities to eat and enjoy your food.

Was the best in the area for many years, unfortunately no longer. Greasy food, smaller portions, higher (Tynemouth) prices. Spoils the street scene with too many outside tables, advertising boards and greasy pavement.

A real treat. Seniors fish and chips with a hot drink £8.50. Delicious and plentiful. Very clean establishment. No sooner has a table been vacated it is cleaned. Courteous and helpful staff.

Never visit this cackhole again, in the 8 minutes I waited for someone to even acknowledge me at the counter before walking out I was able to within 6 minutes walk up the road to Longsands, about 4 doors up order, pay and receivev4 large fish and chips and be back outside Marshall. 1 guy ignored us and started shoveling fish swimming in fat, 3 times 2 femal staff came in and didn't even acknowledge us one to do I have no.idea what another from my observation to change a till roll but no explanation, no apology, not even a basic 'be with ya in a minute pet', Their loss of income was my gain Lobgsands chips and fish were truly delicious and looked superior to the grease swill from Marshall (Myar5eh0le5).

Popped in as my usual longsands kitchen was closed - 20+minute wait for a small chips at £2.80 - they put loads of salt and vinegar on which was a bonusDecent portion but probably won't go back due to the waiting times and attitudes of the staff - click and collect at longsands kitchen has been a game changer since
