Have called here a few times in recent months after visiting a relative in Cullercoats. The carvery which is priced at £ 15.00 for 2 Monday to Friday (Extra £2.50 if you go large) is exceptional value. There is a choice of three meats and a plethora of choice of vegetables and potatoes. Be aware that what appear to be chips are actually parsnips. Superb carvery, 3 types of meat available and vegetables were fantastic. Great value for money and nice atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Lovely views of coast from a nice warm pub. Would recommend to anyone. Probably the best carvery I have had in ten years and I have eaten in over 100 restaurants in London.
We chose the Gibraltar Rock as a venue for our Silver Wedding celebration on 2nd December, 2023. Our eighteen guests unanimously enjoyed a top-class, three-course meal at a reasonable price and the staff clearly put themselves out to ensure we were well looked after and made sure we had a highly enjoyable evening.
