I avoid Asda as much as possible during covid pandemic my wife was refused by security? and not allowed to take a shopping trolley into the store although she was suffering from COPD and a failing heart and needed the trolley to support her, the week previous she suffered a heart attack in store but we were still ushered out because it was closing time managed to get my wife outside to wait for an ambulance. No help or support from Asda they just wanted to go home. My wife sadly passed away about a month later. Worst staff in Washington

Your Chemist staff are ignorant and rude.\\nWhy you bother having a Pharmacy is beyond words anyway.\\nMost of the time they are too busy chatting to eachother to serve you. Slow is as Slow Does.\\n\\nThere are other, Quicker Chemists around.

Always very willing to help with whatever you need. Been going there since they opened a good number of years ago from it being Woolco - always been cheaper than Savacentre.

I have just visited Asda at the Galleries Washington where a gentleman was trying some school trousers on his child, which I know is not allowed due to covid but I have to say the lady shop assistant was extremely rude she shouted over to him in an aggressive tone which made other customers aware of the situation, surely the correct and polite way would have been to go a bit closer to him and explain the rules rather then embarrassing him in front of other shoppers.

The staff i talked to were lovely and friendly. Stocked up well but a tad busy. Also have a cake shop inside, and they look scrumptious.

Frankly, this place is the stuff of nightmares, and I say that as a Washington resident and regular shopper. Their stock control is appalling; can't remember ever getting everything I needed in one shop. Luckily, there is a Sainsburys within a couple of minutes walk to top up on the things that are inevitably out of stock.\\n\\nThis was also one of, if not the first store to apparently disregard all.of the COVID-19 precautions. Whilst Sainsbury's still monitor numbers of shoppers and restrict access, this seems to be a free for all with no restrictions or any effort in regard to social distancing, not that the patrons ever followed the one way system anyway even at the peak.\\n\\nPrice wise, they are still OK, but I've now switched to click and collect and the stress of being in store in the current climate is too much. This service is great except the aforementioned poor stock control meaning regular returns of substituted items that aren't welcome.\\n\\nI'd suggest avoiding the in store experience unless unavoidable. I hugely admire the staff who have to deal with the walking dead customers and made worse by appalling stock availability. If you are nervous about coronavirus, dont even think about visiting.\\n\\nTo summarise, I think this remains the best value:quality supermarket but not sure its worth the hassle... Wouldn't come anywhere near the place if it wasnt on my doorstep...\\n\\nStaff are great though and will do anything they can to help, just a shame they are hindered by appalling protocols and (lack of) stock availability.

Never any aspirin so only worth one star shameful.

Absolute joke trying to get trolleys, one man with an electric trolley pusher that can only push 12 at a time. Once he eventually dropped the 12 trolleys off they went and off he went for another trip but that trip takes approximately 10 mins and they can only bring 1 type at a time and there's never any small trolleys

The most rediculous location for a car park ive seen, It takes me twice as long to shop because i have to walk a mile to get there and back after parking my car. I do not expect to park at the door like all of the idiots parking on the double yellow lines however i feel this is an excessive distance.

One star is to much! The second time they try to steal from me! One price on the product at the shelves and a much bigger one when the cashier is scaning the product. If you don't pay attention you end up paying 10 to 15 percent more then you thought you will!

Again in Asda on a very quiet day and can't get served. One staff member on scan and go- no customers there at all. Three checkouts open all with queues. When I complained the lady on scan and go put my goods through and I paid by card. Not at all Impressed. I left other customers still queuing. Asia your checkout system is not working and the scan and go is useless
