The Avenue, WashingtonHadn't been for quite a while. Noticed the front had been markedly improved with neat chairs and tables outside in the evening sun. We also didn't expect such a significant step up in the food quality. Top quality steak and fish - with all the touches and depth of a 5 star restaurant. Service was friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Bonemill Ln, Washington100% recommend, the food and cocktails are delicious. Lots of choice on the menu. Good atmosphere and lovely friendly staff, our server Aaron was excellent. The lounge section had a singer on and was cosy and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back :)

16 Bonemill Lane, WashingtonWe just had the most amazing night here. First of all probably the only restaurant to offer Sunday dinner in the evening so that’s a 10/10 from me. Portions were huge, everything was delicious and the staff were absolutely amazing. We felt so welcome and thought of and a complimentary dessert to celebrate our engagement was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to come back thank you!

The prices are very reasonable, and the set menu is a personal favourite of mine because it is such great value for money. They certainly do not skimp on the portions either; there is always plenty of meat in the curries.As for the food itself, it is a consistent 10/10 every single time. It always arrives fresh, piping hot, and absolutely packed with flavour. Plus, I can honestly say I have never felt unwell the next day, which is a rare bonus compared to experiences I’ve had with other Indian takeaways.If you have never been here before, give it a try. I think it’s recently had a refurbishment, which improves things, by making everything that little bit fresher. The staff are nice and friendly and there’s everything you’d expect from a Costa. Very good.

All the meals were lovely and tasty everyone enjoyed their food. The staff were happy to bring the birthday cake out with candles on at the end of the meal. The restaurant is lovely and has a really nice atmosphere. All the staff were great but special shout out to our waiter Patrick who was really friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We live locally and we will definitely be back for another meal here.

Only issue that concerned us was the Just eat/delivery driver sat himself at the table my 7yr old granddaughter was sitting at while I was at the counter (2 feet away only from me still). He sat down and put his delivery bag onto the table while he waited. I found this concerning and as he didnt move, we had to move to another table once i was served(there are only 3 in total), as well as having a bag on the table being unhygienic. Surely there should be a place away from seated customers that delivery drivers can wait?

46 Valley Forge, WashingtonPing On is easily the best Chinese takeaway in Washington. Anthony is an absolute star — always smiling, always welcoming, and always asking how the family’s doing. Places like this are rare. My favourite dish is the Curried Four Happiness. If you’re a curry lover and want something hearty with all the meats, trust me, this one hits the spot.

Beautifully turned out, and the buffet was FANTASTIC. I arranged food for 40, but it could have fed all them, plus the street. A lovely variety of food, with vegetarian and gluten free options. Dunnock Drive, WashingtonBusy pub even on a Monday night but still managed to get a seat, seems to play sports matches and is frequented by the locals. Noted drinkers, eaters and family parties alike, lighting was a little dull, maybe to allow folk to watch the TV.
Services was functional and friendly, order at the bar. Diverse menu.
Food was great wholesome food.
I went for the salt and chili chicken ciabatta, was flavourful, tasty nice chunky slaw, big dunking bowl of Chinese curry sauce. Huge portion of chips too, great for polishing off the sauce. Side of of onion rings seem fresh made, big hoops too nice tempura batter, not like the frozen ones although they were a little under seasoned.
Would recommend for some scran if passing by.
