NICE LOW COST HOTEL- Easy to find and plenty of parking.- Rooms are clean (slightly dated).- Bathroom facilities are fine.- Staff on reception were great.- Only downsides are the road noise coming from the main road / your neighbours, and the rooms appear to be very warm (no AC).- Other than that, it's good value for a cheap stay.

Our stay at the Secluded Mountain Retreat was simply unforgettable. Tucked away in the hills, it offered unparalleled tranquility and stunning views. The cabin was beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with rustic charm. The hosts were warm and welcoming, providing excellent recommendations for local trails and attractions. We left feeling recharged and inspired by nature's beauty.

We didn't stay here as had booked hotel next door. Our not so dog friendly hotel. Came into Campanile for dinner last night and back for breakfast. Service brilliant, welcome fantastic, dogs very welcome with pet corner. We will come back if in the area thank you staff of Campanile.

Would not stay here again. Food ok, menu not bad but awful lot of fried food. Room service such has beverage tray in room never topped up. Finally bar clised 10.00pm. Totally useless when away go out sight seeing etc driving for best part then back to hotel no bar. Really not good.Noteworthy details: Would not come again

Great budget hotel. Rooms are a little small and tired but adequate. Good idea to have an inner door to reduce corridor noise. Nice touch was the water and Mars bars in the room on arrival. Staff are fantastic, friendly, and helpful, especially Skylar and Gemma. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of it and tasty. Dinner was good too (curry and veggie burger). Would recommend.

Rooms as expected. Hotel very convenient for A1. Breakfast fair. Avoid evening meal....all out of a tin or packet.. and my veg hadn't been microwaved long enough to be

Hmm. Rooms were a bit grotty. But cheap and we managed to sleep well enough. If the locations suits your needs and the price is right, it'll do.

1st time of staying here. Lovely hotel, rooms a bit dated but didn't bother us. Staff are so friendly. The food is amazing. Loved it so much booked to come back in Dec and July next year. Excellent location for visiting metro center and beamish.Safety: The hotel is very secure. Felt completely safeFood & drinks: Food was amazing. Breakfast selection was really good only downside was no yoghurts or milk for dairy allergy.

Wouldn’t even put a dog in here, no socket outlets to charge your phone, Tv remote doesn’t work, lights didn’t work can’t see a thing at night, have to use my phone torch which is bad because I can’t charge it either, smells like weed in the corridors absolute awful, stay away Not clean, carpets look like they have decomposition stains

Booked a room for 1 night. Checked in and checked out straight away. Room stank of disinfectant, so overwhelming couldn't stay in the room. Room was very worn and tired. Bed was like a sponge. Told the guy on the desk it wasn't what we we expecting, didn't ask why but did look to see if we could be refunded which we couldn't.

Stayed here while visiting family in Washington, cannot fault the place one little bit and can’t understand some previous reviews. Agreed it is basic and needs a little TLC, however the hotel can only do as far as refurb and maintenance budgets allow. Staff very very friendly and put to shame some of the larger hotel chains with regard to customer service, also the deputy GM was amazing and would do anything possible to help. Would stay again 100%

Great wee place. Rooms basic but fine! Bar staff and hotel staff so friendly! Only stayed 2 nights but they were so friendly! Only issue was mixed times told for breakfast and bar opening was 12 and closed early but Claire the manager was brilliant and had a great stay!

3 star is about the fairest review we can give. The room itself was basic but fairly clean, if rather dated. The bed was 2 singles shoved together, so not very comfortable. Big car park, and loads of food options nearby, Would have liked a menu for restaurant in the room as following the QR code took to a generic website with no menu options for the hotel. Points off also for staff at check in being more interested in their computers than acknowledging us and checking us in quickly. Wasn't the best start to our stay. Overall, would probably pay the wee bit extra for the Premier Inn in future.

First time at this Hotel and after reading reviews I thought I'd give it a go. I'm not normally one to give a bad review but felt like I had to..Was given my hotel key and went to room..I was shocked to see how dated the room was...room was big but stunk of bleach and judging by layout it was for someone who had disabilities..I asked reception if I could change room and no hesitation they changed it. My other room was in 1st floor look at all the doors looks like it's run down..My room was the same dated style but no smell and clean. There was only 1 plug socket available and you couldn't use a plug with a USB as the table is in the way and can't move it!! Then the shower head was shocking ..gushing out of the sides and rubbish..I had 2 nights here and bothered nights I could hear next door talking loud till 3 in morning first night but 2nd night they talked all the way till 7am ???..So no sleep for me and a 6hr drive back home in morning..I know that's not the hotels fault but unbelievable from that couple..Walls are thin or they were really loud..On a positive my bed was comfy and hotel staff were lovely..and I'm so glad I paid low price as I had a discount from expedia..But never again here ...
