I had Turkey & Lamb which was nice, not a massive portion though I did have a decent amount of veg to make up for it! One thing I didn't enjoy though were the roast potatoes as after cutting into them they were rather under cooked for my liking as they were quite hard.Parking: Its ample depending on what time you visit

Although we had not booked, we were offered a table within the bar seating area. Thank you for been so accommodating and also a big shout out to yogita [sorry for any misspelling] for taking the time and effort in helping us on such a busy day?

Came for the Carvery on Boxing day as a treat from Mum in law so we didn't have to cook. The Carvery was excellent, meat was plentiful(baby loved the turkey) and service was second to none. To Claudia the manageress, you have a lovely team, and you were really accommodating to us. We will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend. Thank you. 5+stars.

Honestly could not fault out visit yesterday(Sunday 31st/12/23)Service was super Friendly and efficient, I think our server was Mia, really friendly very fast and efficient, chatty but not overbearing! The food was probably the highlight, walking up to the carvery we noticed how colourful and full everything was, again fast service chefs behind the counter friendly, all the food was cooked perfectly and at a good temperature. We eat at Toby’s at least once a month, but have to say this has been this best visit in a long time.

Melissa was great as our server. Ben looked after was well. Got a king size and got loads of meat. Only issues was all the veg was low in the pots and was dry and was luke warm. Slightly disappointing.

Whilst at the carvery there was no roast photos or peas left, so I asked if these could be replaced. There was no hurry from staff to replace and I was left standing with part food on my plate. When I asked how much longer this would be I was told in a rude manner they were busy. The quality of food was poor over all. I then ordered a desert sicky toffee pudding this was hard not fresh, I told staff who appeared unconcerned, I advised this wasn't served to anyone else. I will not return or recommend . Total waste of my money for poor food and bad service.

Great atmosphere, and warm welcome from all of the staff we dealt with. Karen who was our waitress for the evening was lovely and service was excellent. Standard fare for a carvery albeit there is more choice in the way of meats, and the Yorkshire puddings are huge! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back when we're next in the area.

The food was excellent on this visit and our server called Ali was lovely, really happy and she never stopped bless her. We hadn't been for about a year as we felt the food had gone down hill. But we will definitely be back. Food was

We eat at Toby at Washington quite regularly. Always satisfied we went for our Xmas dinner. What a dissapointment. The main carvary was as usual lovely. However, what spoiled it for us was the starters and desserts. I ordered prawn and salmon starter. The prawns were not the usual succulent prawns one expects in a starter. They were so small and tasteless. My wife's ordered the pate which was accompanied by dry bread, although she was given butter, one would expect Pate to be accompanied by toasted bread. I opted for the cheese board instead of a sweet dessert. Big mistake, I received three pieces of cheese, two of which were approx 1 inch cube and were the same type of cheese. Again little to no flavour. The third piece was Stilton, although flavoursome, the portion was so unbelievably small. Half a dozen grapes, crackers that were slightly soft. It was such a shame, we left quite underwhelmed. A little bit more care with the quality of the starters and desserts would have made all the difference. Certainly not worth the price at over £60 per head. Can I close by saying that the staff did a brilliant job.

Been refurbished, staff canny , but the carvery is poor,We went on sat 9thdecThe meat is always lovely , but the veg was rock hard...Couldn't cut through the parsnips or cauliflower.Upon departure, the server asked how everything was, I informed her about the veg , and how we could only eat half of the meal , she did apologise, but £11.29 each for a few slices of meat , a Yorkshire pud and some mash is frankly daylight robbery.I emailed a complaint to there headquarters, with a copy of the bill (almost£30)No response at allWon't be going back ...You'd get no stars for food if it was possible...Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids , well behaved for onceWheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Very busy on arrival. In fairness, we didn't book so had to wait for a table which was fine. We had the carvery which had a good choice, however we were disappointed with the food. It was at best just warm and the roast potatoes were very hard and under cooked.
