This is honestly the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many this is beautiful clean and the staff are so friendly to top the night off my granddaughter it was her 15 th birthday and they went above and beyond gave her a happy birthday balloon and brought a pudding out with a fountain candle I’m telling you you do not get this treatment anywhere else thankyou to all the wonderful staff x

We went to Shampan as a last minute thing for my Birthday, 8 of us arrived we arrived at 6.30pm with no booking,I spoke to kami for a table who said it was absolutely no problem. Service and food first class as always.highly recommend, in my opinion it’s the best Indian restaurant by far. Nothings a problem. Fantastic guys thank you.

The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable and the ambience was fine dining. The Chicken Handi was succulent and hot. The butter Naan was so soft and yum! The Kebab platter was good, just add one more kebab and one more lamb chop and increase the price to match that. The Pilau rice was good. One thing is, that if there’s food on the table, and people are taking a break before finishing the food as they want to pace the meal, please don’t pester asking if they are done, not once but several times. It wasn’t even that we were over time or there were people waiting. Let customers enjoy their meal in peace.

Two hairs in the starter of our meal. We were told that it was a strand of hemp (or something similar) from the sacks they empty to make the food. Didn’t really believe it. Looked like hair and felt like hair. Never had this in any other Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant from hundreds of meals.
They apologised and offered money off (which was fair enough), but we’ve not been back since.

Last minute decision to try here for my birthday and the best decision I’ve made. They booked at table for us at 8pm my husband mentioned it was my birthday when booking. When i arrived the table was decorated with birthday confetti and a balloon. The staff were wonderful, the food was amazing! Even a dessert with a sparkler in and complementary shots for all of us. I visited with my husband and 2 girls (14 & 12) the girls even got a kids shot. What a lovely evening, thank you. Looking forward to the next visit.

so disappointed, decided to have a curry instead of a traditional Christmas lunch i ordered tandoori king prawn garlic for my main. they were just mush, gutted and binned. husband curry was delicious, had to reheat sides as were ready when we arrived 10 mins early to collect. appreciate they have had a busy day. but mushy prawns????

The meal was impeccable.

The staff were all absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable on their products, extremely accommodating, and super friendly.

We go as a group regularly the food and service is top notch and the owner is very attentive and friendly
Cracking curry house! I hit it on a busy Thursday night during the school summer holiday with three associates. The standard pre-starter of poppadoms and pickles primed the chops for an aloo chat, Tandoori Cocktail, cheese naan and a bowl of ice cream to conclude. All totally dusted. The party was kept alive with multiple Cobra beers apiece. Next door on both sides are two more eatieries of similar ilk but we hit Shampan due to prior recommendations.
Parking: I used the metro taking me back to Toon. It's two minutes walk behind the place!
