Great for families, really warm and friendly welcome. Delicious food would definitely visit again. There’s a few parking spaces outside which was useful due to the weather.

Visited this restaurant 7pm Thursday evening. It is divided by a wall that gives one third,two thirds layout with open plan seating to the main side. It offered a Thursday evening special which was comprehensive in its offerings but with additional costs for some meat and other dishes. The order was taken and we awaited our meal. After a good period of time had elapsed we noticed that a table of four behind us had been served their food before us . I spoke to the chap who had taken our order and within a couple of minutes the food arrived all at once. It had obviously been standing about waiting to be served. There were lots of waiting staff working that evening. These things of course do happen, but the food itself could only be described as average at best.

Visited Takdir for the first time for my daughters 21st birthday. My first thoughts when I walked in was how lovely the restaurant was, very modern with gorgeous lighting. They have a banquet on sun - Thursday, 5 courses for £18.95. We all went for this as everything we wanted to order was available in the special offer. The food was beautiful aswel as the presentation. The staff were really friendly and literally couldn't do enough for us, making sure we were OK. After our main course they topped the evening off with bringing a chocolate brownie for my daughter with a huge sparkler in and singing happy birthday, we hadn't requested this so it was appreciated even more. We've always had a regular Indian restaurant that we go to but wanted to try somewhere new with it being a special occasion. This will now be our regular restaurant as everything from the gorgeous setting, the friendly staff, the delicious food and the fantastic price was perfect and worth every penny. Thank you Takdir, we'll be back ?

I stayed in whitely bay just me and my 6 year old son during half term while visiting family and friends. We had a night off from seeing people and had a little mummy son date night. We didn’t book and the staff were quick to clear a table for us to sit at. Every member of staff was lovely and engaged with my son too. Even the young staff were super, which you don’t find often. The food was delicious and we’re just sad we don’t live local as we’d eat there all the time. I’ve told my family and friends about it so hopefully they go soon. They gave my son some lollipops after our meal which he was thrilled about. Thank you!!

We went to have a meal at the Takdir tonight, 15th July but we were very disappointed with the service. Although I had booked a table on line we were greeted with "not sure we have table for you, its very busy. However, a table was organised after taking a table from a large party. We then waited for any service. I had to find a waiter/waitress to ask for drink. Also struggled to order food. The starter was not cleared before the mains arrived. My husband had to go to the bar to pay before we left. Not a good experience.

Excellent food, really good choices, individual choices suitable for vegans& vegetarians, set price meal 5 courses for £17.95 & you can add extra dishes as required. Good choice of beers, lagers & wines & soft drink. Very friendly staff. Would definitely eat there again.

Went for Birthday celebration on a Wednesday night. Seated straight away and poppadoms etc came quick. Starters took 50 to arrive from when we ordered. Lovely portion sizes on everything as we had ordered off the 4 course menu. Food was beautiful, lovely and fresh but staff seemed to walk past table a dozen times before clearing plates away. Definitely will be returning though as food was spot on!
We had a lovely meal for two. Service was quick and very attentive ? Restaurant was busy on a Monday night!

Easy online booking and great service from walking in to leaving. Went for the Banquet menu and wasn’t disappointed at all. Great choices, great food and excellent portion sizes. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered food at 6:40pm, delivery time was meant to be 45-60mins, food arrived 1 hour 50 mins later, and was cold, not only that but the game changer flat bread was missing, when called them was told it was missed and we’ll get it to you in 25 minutes, 40 mins later my partner has finished her cold meal and I have a lukewarm flat bread, very disappointing, staff were apologetic but to offer only 20% off my next order is very poor service, when spending £50 for a cold meal and the other half missing!!

Really lovely family meal. The food was delicious. Staff friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. Gluten free options considered carefully and taken seriously by the staff. Highly recommend.

First visit for many many years and will be back very soon - lovely food, don't normally go for 'special meal' but did this time and was great value - best prawn puree have had for ages !!!! Only disappointment was the coffee lol
