Yet again we have had great food at the beehive inn, cooked to order but we'll worth the wait as it was excellent. The pesto salmon was fabulous according to my wife who loves salmon. I had the gish and chips with curry sauce and that was some of the best I've had. Staff are great and attentive and the place is really nice. Booking ahead is recommended to guarantee a table.. Good choice of real ales also available. We shall be back.Parking: Parking around the inn with overflow area but within easy reach we'll within 50 yards.

Very popular. Excellent food, but slow service of which one is warned. Didn’t like not being allowed to sit where we wanted although it was still an unreserved table for two.

Can't tell you much because we stood like idiots for over 10 minutes waiting for somebody, anybody to acknowledge our presence and seat us.Naturally we left and will not return.Shame, because the food is supposed to be superb. Now will never know.

My husband son and 81 year old father in law visited the beehive on Thursday night and were greeted by a man who asked if we wanted food, we said we only wanted drinks. He was very abrupt and said he only had tables for food but we could sit in the foyer next to the door if we wanted. My father in law isn’t good on his feet and feels the cold easily. We weren’t impressed at all so we definitely won’t be back!

We will definitely be returning to this amazing place! We turned up on a Sunday lunchtime without a reservation and they were able to fit us in! We were made to feel so welcome and the staff were so friendly. The atmosphere just made you feel as if you had gone out to lunch with your family. And the food was absolutely delicious, it was the best fish pie that I have ever tasted. It was the first time we had been, but we will definitely be back!

Great English and pub food. Great atmosphere. It was quite busy and we didn't have a reservation but the staff were friendly and managed to find us a spot. I had the nut roast and my wife had the steak pie. All was fantastic.Vegetarian options: The nut roast, which was great. Wonderful flavor and texture
