Loved coming here before new owners took over.. came for fish and chips with the family only to throw it all in the bin. There was more grease and oil than anything. Fish inedible due to the excessive oil, batter was mushy and covered in oil. Chips again, covered in oil.. staff got order wrong so I had to travel back for them to correct it..

We are from llandysul and we go to aberaeron alot just to go to this chip shop. The staff are so friendly especially Hannah, the food is amazing, priced well and all freshly done. Can't wait to see the newly refurbished cafe.

Llond plat have the best chips in Aberaeron. Reasonably priced too. Just great.Kid-friendliness: They had no issue with my Autistic son while he was acting up due to the break in routineWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps both outside the door and into the main seating areas

When you want a decent plate of great battered fish and well cooked chips , hot and crunchy , this has to be the place to deliver. Many thanks.

Gave me beans on my chips instead of gravy. However one of the best chip shops I’ve been too, unreal chips, lovely fish and the fish cake is top

Don't go anywhere else!On Sunday we had driven home three and a half hours through traffic jams rain and fog arriving in Aberaeron starving at 8.30ish . We pulled up outsider the Lond Plat just as they were closing but the lady who runs it said "let them in we've only just turned everything off" They gave us enormous portions then asked us if we had a dog (We have) as there were a couple of sausages left over. Then she asked us if we had anything that would eat the remaining chips and we told her we had chickens that would love them so we left laden with free goodies for our animals and the best chip shop chips I can remember eating.Just Brilliant.
It's the best fish and chip shop good portions and very friendly staffWheelchair accessibility: I have a mobility scooter and I'm able to drive in and park it at the front of the cafe

Came in on 31/10 at about 3pm. Ordered two regular chips, 2 ketchups and 2 cans of coke. Came to £10.20 which I thought was quite steep. I live in South London and this same order is £6.20 at my local. The restaurant was empty and stood for a while until served, a few teenage boys made eye contact but didn't seem interested in serving. A lady eventually came out and served. We walked down to the seafront to eat and as I unwrapped my chips there was a hair which immediately put me off. Chips tasted disgusting and perhaps like they had been reheated multiple times. Had one chip each and we both had to bin them all as they were inedible. Such a disappointment. If I hadn't walked down to the seafront (or had my child with me) I would have returned but I couldn't be bothered with it all since the service was lacking initially I didn't expect much response.

Go to! Decent portions, not overly greasy, kind staff, nice seating. Can't go wrong.

Lunch time so not too hungry. Decided on the small breakfast. As big as a big breakfast anywhere else. Good quality bacon and fresh farm eggs. Delicious, filling and a reasonable cost. Will eat here when next in Aberaeron
