I’d heard good things about Manuka, but I was disappointed…my initial thoughts were that the staff weren’t very friendly, but I just put that down to having had a busy week with graduation. I can forgive the slow service for food cooked to order, and the food was very tasty, but when I questioned the meagre amount of duck on my £15 Thai duck loaded fries I was told “we don’t put much meat on” (no you certainly don’t!). I didn’t mention the triple cooked chips which were so hard I couldn’t get my fork into them. I also don’t think being given a bit of blue kitchen roll (that had been wrapped round her hand and ripped off a big roll), in place of a serviette, is acceptable. Sadly I can’t see me coming back

The food tasted good, but there wasn’t enough meat on our dish, which was disappointing. Service was mediocre at best, and we had to wait a long time for our food to arrive. Overall, it was not a positive experience, and we won’t be returning.

Been here for breakfast a couple of times. Really great choice and service.

Manuka catered for my party of 70, with a request for mostly vegetarian with meat options for non veggies. Sara and her team produced the most amazing food, taste and beautiful flavours , wow. So many party guests commented on the beautiful food. Thank you Manuka ❤️

Yet another amazing takeaway from Cegin Manuka!!! Flavours are amazing and the food tastes so fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the Banana & Baileys Bread and butter pudding is TO DIE FOR. If you haven’t tried it - you must!!!! Diolch Sara x

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had!!! I had the Hash brown loaded breakfast and it was all cooked to perfection ? I would highly recommend it!

I cannot commend the food and flavours enough. However, the service/ customer service is awful. Kept stood waiting to order with no acknowledgment for some time felt quite rude. No estimated wait time for food given. People skills generally lacking. Missing a friendly welcoming face. If the food hadn’t been so tasty I wouldn’t come back.

Stunning food, have tried quite a few of their dishes over the last few months and all were extremely good, excellent flavours in every dish, highly recommended and well worth a visit, only downside they don’t take card.

Amazing food! Definitely worth a visit. Take cash though as they don't take card. There is a cashpoint in the high street not for away.

We visited Manuka street food on Fri 7th July. On the plus side, my surf and turf was interesting with some lovely fresh flavours. I enjoyed it. The location is nice, right by the harbour. There is beer and soft drinks available. On the minus side, my husband had triple cooked chips, loaded with pork belly, and the chips were very oily. He couldn’t eat them and threw most of them away. The pork belly was very crispy indeed. I tried a chip and agreed with him. The service was slow and chaotic.

I was at an international conference in Aberystwyth this weekend and one of the caterers was Manuca Street food. Their food was fantastic. The Korean chicken was so tasty and the rice was full of flavour. The did a magnificent job catering efficiently for so many people and producing consistently delicious food. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed it. Well done to Sara and her team.
