A wonderful little cafe which serves genuine food. Anna is a real character and she makes the visit more enjoyable.

Anna runs this place on her own and is a real character. Very friendly and she serves excellent, genuinely home cooked food. Our steak and kidney pie was very tasty...and served with a generous portion of home made chips. Very cosy inside. Highly recommended.

Went here as it’s our last day of holiday. The food, service and hospitality were excellent. The meat pie was mouthwatering. Looking forward to returning one day.

We were visiting Aberdovey for the day and came upon this cosy cafe just as it was opening for lunch. The proprietor could not have been friendlier and despite being on her own, cooked the three of us a perfect lunch. We will definitely return and highly recommend this establishment.

This is the best place to eat and spend time in this great little village. The owner is just the nicest lady. Always ready for a bit of a chat and makes you feel like you are at home. Food is great. Amazing portion for the price and always tastes amazing.

Lovely food and so friendly. Quick service despite all 5 of us choosing different foods. Very homely. Loved it and would recommend if you just want honest food. ?

Arrived with cases and were given a lovely spot in the window / we both ate the homemade steak pie - which was amazing ? the lady owner is lovely, so welcoming and friendly. It was the best start to our May Day weekend!

A warm welcome extended from owner who engages in full and friendly conversation (when restaurant quieter), drawing on her 40 years experience in situ. Food is good quality with generous portions of homemade food from snacks to sandwiches to selection of "with chips" type meals.

Good to meet the proprietor again several years.....

Poor atmosphere and not very welcoming especially if you have children or a dog. Given that it's supposed to be dog friendly in particular, and that most other places in Aberdovey are children & dog friendly and are welcoming with it. Food and Drinks were however ok though, so if you have no children or dogs, this might be your place to go.

We visited with our jackhuahua on a cold day. The lady owner was very welcoming. I ate homemade soup which was delicious ? My husband ate ham sandwiches made from a gammon joint. Our pooch had some gammon too which was appreciated! Thank you for the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, we had a good meal and chat with the owner. Mrs Hutchby.
