Bear of Amsterdam Cafe
A493, AberdoveyBeen here a few times now. Absolutely love it. The lady who runs the place is a real character and always makes me laugh with her jokes and funny chit chat.
The food served is excellent and arrives promptly - absolutely can't fault it - highly recommended

Walker's Quality Fish & Chips
8 Bodfor Terrace, AberdoveyAbsolutely AMAZING fish and chips, no doubt the best chippy around by miles. We often travel from Birmingham and won’t eat at any other chippy. It’s a must try when in the area, you won’t regret it. We visited on a sunny Saturday evening and it was busy, but we didn’t wait long at all. Really friendly staff and outstanding food ☺️

The Boardwalk Bistro
Sea Rivers Caravan Park, Ynyslas, BorthWe ordered a family takeaway for 6 people & we were all very happy with our starters, main meals & sides which were well cooked & full of flavour. Having finished our meal, we agreed that this was the best takeaway we’d had for a very long time in the Aberystwyth area.

Penhelig Arms Hotel
Terrace Rd, Aberdyfi, AberdoveyNice room - large and clean with fab views over the estuary. The bar is nice - traditional and dogs welcome.
The food is pretty bad. We had dinner and breakfast. It's the worst of pub grub, made by someone who didn't really seem to be bothered.
I'd stay here again, but only on a room-only basis.

Britannia Inn
Sea View Terrace, AberdoveyWales - Wales - Wales, wow, wow, wow. As beautiful and friendly as Ireland. Where else could Rod and I duck to the local Pub @croesoatthebrit (Facebook) to pick up some wine and get recommended some glorious Romanian reds. The Britannia Inn Aberdovey @thebritaberdyfi and end up shucking and eating magnificent oysters with Gary the publican which he was sharing with the locals. (An Aberdovey version of sausage rolls on the bar)

Bay Of Bengal
12 New St, AberdoveyEnjoyed a meal here, 2 adults, 2 kids, they just squeezed us in on a busy Friday night at 6pm, and was already getting full. My Balti was merely ok, but everyone else's was good. Quite expensive, but curry is now - £4.50 for a very small portion of ok rice!\nObviously very popular in the summer months, so I do question the reason for being cash only - we spent almost £100 for the 4 of us (with only 2 cokes for drinks as we took a bottle), the table next to us had about 10 people, so must have been about £300 - who carries that much cash?
