What a fantastic find! Friendly and welcoming staff and nothing was too much trouble. Food was freshly cooked, hot and well cooked. We stayed in room 8 which had a sea view. Never have we stayed in a room with so much space. Extremely comfy bed and pillows. Endless plug sockets and USB points. Do not overlook this place it's fabulous

Despite it being winter months we were welcomed and made to feel like part of the locals, food was lovely and the staff very attentive, clean spacious rooms and a wonderful selection for breakfast

Brilliant! I stayed here for a full working week and couldn't be happier with my decision to choose this place,\\nThe rooms where immaculate and the food was great, (must try the ultimate cheeseburger!)\\nThe restaurant was warm and cosy, with a friendly atmosphere.\\nThe price was exceptional for the level of service and lovely food. I left feeling as though I've had more of a holiday rather than being away to work!\\n\\nBig thanks to all the welcoming hardworking staff at the Dovey inn,\\nNo doubt I will be back for a relaxing weekend away!

I had a fantastic experience at the Dovey Inn! Samantha who helped with my booking went over and beyond to make my stay enjoyable to all the other staff who bent over backwards to accommodate my every need. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable and I had a breathtaking view of the ocean, all the amenities were great, and fab selection of food on the menu! Everything I tried was spot on and would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again to everyone at the Dovey will definitely see you again

Me and my friend went for a few drinks and some food and the food was so nice the steak was cooked perfectly and the cocktails were beautiful. the staff were amazing and smiley and helpful. Zak was serving us all night and he was lovely and chatty as we were too and made us feel very welcome. couldn’t have been happier
A very relaxed environment. Very large comfortable room . Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We had a great stay.\\nThe second staircase is a little challenging as the building was built in 1700, but it didn't deter our enjoyable 4 night's stay.

Though superbly located , with good staff, and reasonable food , the house keeping left much to be desired. Our room was not vacuumed in 3 days, a used cup was just rinsed and put back ( still stained from tea) , and the toilet was not cleaned at all.

Excellent. We did not book but they found us a table and accepted our dogs without any problem. The food ( Sunday roast) was very good value for money and highly recommended. Staff were very friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We are going to Aberdovey again very soon and will booking a table for Sunday roast, can't wait.

We were greeted by Stuart, who looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. I liked that he remembered my name \\u0026 used it. He had a excellent interaction with other customers while we were there. A brilliant member of staff to have at front of house, he's definitely an asset to your team.

We were welcomed nicely and a table set for nine was already for us (we had booked).\\nStaff were attentive and efficient but still had a friendly and happy approach to us and the children.\\nFood was cooked well and served together and drinks came beforehand and they even made me a pot of tea as I rarely drink alcohol .Meals were hot and plentiful. good choice and lots for children.

We were in Aberdovey on a Monday night to be fair The Dovey Inn wasn't our first choice for somewhere to eat however on arrival we were greeted at the bar by Sophie who took our drinks order and the fabulous Sam took us to our seats we placed our order with Sam who did explain that there would be a slight wait as there was a large party in the lounge, which was no problem. The food could only be described as average which is the same for most chain pubs on the other hand the two young ladies Sophie and Sam were brilliant, this is the main reason to visit at times we can all choose the wrong option but the service is there every day, Well done Sophie and Sam

Really quick service considering they did say there was going to be a bit of a wait. The staff are so considerate and thoughtful - one saw that i was on my own with 3 small children so said I didn't need to order at the bar and would come to the table instead and the other offered to get my 3 year old a different cup and smaller straw to make it easier for him to drink his drink. Just makes a big difference to how enjoyable eating out is! Food is always good and setting is gorgeous. Thank you
