Wonderful addition to Mardy. The area has needed a fresh pub like this for years. They will be extremely successful, im sure of it. Highly recommend. ?

They don't answer the phone or reply to messages. Wanted to book a meal for 15 people so went elsewhere. They obviously didn't want or need the business.

Popped in after a wet and soggy evening g walk in the beautiful Black Mountains around Abergavenny. The welcome was warm, the array of local ales was refreshing to see and the specials board kangaroo burger was outstanding.

Fantastic pub for a family meal! Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and lovely food! I had the curry and bread & butter pudding, everyone's food was super tasty! We will be back, thank you for a wonderful evening to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday!

Noisy and expensive pint looks nice from the outside but not for me unfortunately and at over 5 pound for green king ipa I'd expect a pint that didn't taste like it was

Lovely local pub. Good choice of drinks as in gins and some great wines as well. Decor/lighting was a bit stark. Wouldn't describe this place as cosy and comfy but a decent enough place to stop for a quick drink...

Lovely warm atmospheric old pub with friendly helpful staff despite being very busy. Fantastic food, not your basic pub grub - absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Would have taken a photo but couldn't wait to get stuck in!

Very welcoming, breakfast was top drawer, service was superb, our dog and 2 year old loved the place, cannot wait to visit again
Visited here Xmas eve for dinner. Was very busy but we were seated quickly. We enjoyed the lamb curry and the chicken and truffle pie. All served piping hot, service excellent. Delicious.

Nice restaurant and pub but it took 3 hours to do a three course meal. The chef had walked out!! Terrible service.

We had the pleasure to dine at The Crown last Saturday. All our dishes were well presented and delicious, but the slow cooked beef cheeks deserve a special mention as it was absolutely exceptional dish. The service was very professional especially from Gabriel who mostly served our table. The place was very busy but the waiter was very attentive. We are very fortunate to have few lovely restaurants in Abergavenny, but The Crown have just became my favourite out of them all.

First time in ages I'd eaten at The Crown. I was not disappointed. Exemplary food (particularly the Beef Cheek) surpassed expectations. The rest of the table all agreed. Fantastic evening in a great setting. Thank you to all at The Crown.
