Beautiful hidden place and I had the most delicious mushroom and truffle soup that I have ever eaten! All made by their talented chef in their kitchen. Really recommend!!

My wife and I both had the Shakshuka (1 + chorizo), we sat in the beautiful courtyard in the spring sunshine and enjoyed one of the loveliest meals. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautifully restored and holds great events.

Sadly, the quality of service and attitudes towards customers depends upon whether the owner is present, or not. A tip, when you ask a customer 'how was it?' and they tell you they waited an hour for a coffee, don't tell them they are lying, when you don't like their answer. Equally don't ask, if you don't want to know. Food was good, but despite asking twice, the drinks didn't arrive until an hour after ordering. I appreciate that sometimes things go wrong, it's how you deal with it that makes the difference.

Lunch visit with my mum and my baby. So welcoming and incredible food. Made baby feel very welcome which is a relief as I’m constantly aware people think 1 year olds are a pain! A great team, and Natalie was particularly friendly, though they really are lovely staff. Food was excellent as always!

Lovely lunch. Great quality ingredients and very tasty. I chose the mushroom and goat’s cheese tart and shakshuka for my hubby. Delicious! Add in 2 glasses of wine and a lemon grass tea. The bill was £50.

Starting to be out and about again after the pandemic. Interesting to see how things have changed - some better, some not so. This venue has retained its interesting, if limited, menu; some might even say quirky. I like that. There is now a ‘wait to be greeted’ policy. The greeter today was exceptional. Friendly, listened to what I said, replied intelligently and with humour; and did what was promised. Simple things maybe, but not all that common these days. I opted to sit outside. Service was prompt and polite. A linen napkin and a carafe of water emphasised attention to detail. To be commended.

Ambience good nice rustic feel. Coffee and food well over priced £5 for a piece of cake !!! Art work from the gallery would look good displayed in the cafe.

Beautiful converted chapel serving light lunches. Excellent food. Friendly service - although expect to wait a little while for food during busy periods.

This is becoming one of my favourite places to eat. Stopped for lunch on our way home from holiday in Snowdonia. He had the salmon frittata, I had the avocado, egg and heritage tomatoes. We both loved our food and I also bought a jar of apricot chutney and some spiced tomato chutney. Can’t stop eating them with every meal. Thanks everyone

Fantastic discovery!! The best service I've had in a very long time. Great selection of drinks and food - the iced coffee was a brilliant suggestion for a hot day. The inside seating area is spacious but the external courtyard is a boon for summer days. Worth seeking this place out if you're visiting Abergavenny!!
