Freindly and efficient staff. Good choice if cake and food.Dog freindly. Always use this cafe when in town.

Flat white was a latte - in a large mug. Given some sort of processed spread rather than real butter for tea cake. Thought it would be better than this. Service and atmosphere good.

Great coffee and cake, the best in

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Abergavenny. The coffee was really good which I was pleasantly surprised by!Seating area is available downstairs as well as on the 1st floor and the toilet is on the 2nd. It’s been decorated very well and you can tell it was well thought out!Only thing I will say is there isn’t that much variety of food. They have a few cakes and sandwiches to choose from which they will warm up for you. It looks quite trendy so it would definitely benefit from some hot food.

We went there on Sunday 15th October for lunch. They had only toasties left which was disappointing, but they were surprisingly tasty. (they don't look nice in the fridge, but they look and taste great after being toasted!)My husband says their coffee was awful though... maybe it's something to do with the batista? The lady who served us seemed SO angry which made us feel so uncomfortable. The way she talks sounded grumpy, and she never even smiled. We don't just want good food at a cafe.I'm surprised as their restaurant is just amazing.

On previous visits with my mum we were impressed with the coffee and cups it was served in but the food was stone cold, I wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review but on my most recent visit to get a cappuccino I was going to the loo first, I explained this to the barista but some bougie deaf old bat (I’m assuming the owner or something) shouted after me “you can’t use the toilet unless you’re a customer”, absolutely revolting I will never visit again and I’m telling everyone I know about this

Friendly staff and a good atmosphere.

We arrived late in the afternoon and found that lots of the coffee shops were closing. We asked and the waitress kindly agreed to serve us. So glad she did as we enjoyed delicious local coffee in our cappuccinos and a slice each of Victoria sponge and Jaffa cake. Our doggie was welcome too and she enjoyed a hand baked treat. Lovely staff in this independent coffee shop. Definitely would return if in the area.

Without doubt - best toasties I've ever had in my life!May sound extreme, but the toasted bread was lightly crispy and filling was delicious. The lamb pasty was yummy, too.Highly recommend!

Awful cappuccino, the barrista hasn't a clue. Served with a latte and the two were indistinct from one another. There are a lot of coffee shops in Abergavenny and it's a very competitive field. The Gaff has to do better.

Amazing service and fab lil shop but didn't find much sweet snack to munch on, might have been late in the day but was gutted!

Lovely little place on the high street with tables outside. We ordered 2 cream teas, a coffee and a milkshake. The staff were lovely. Milkshake was one of the nicest I’ve had. But oh dear the scones! They were served with jam and cream which wasn’t enough but they were so hard they were inedible. I don’t know if they were stale or just badly cooked. We visited with our dog who will eat anything even she wouldn’t touch them. Such a shame as it let the whole visit down.

Service was terrible. Do two size coffees, but only if you take out and the regular is tiny! Need to work on customer service as the young girls behind the counter do seem to really care. Go to Costa or Nero's instead.
