Having recently moved to the area, my partner and I have made the Grofield Inn our local, despite it not being the closest pub to our house. We love the atmosphere and the food and drink. But most of all, we love the staff and their service - we are always made to feel welcome, and the staff are genuinely disappointed when we don't take our dog, Juniper, to the pub. Today, we had our first Sunday roast at the Grofield - 10/10.
Good Food Great
Good good and great staff. A very friendly atmosphere.
I've wanted to try the Grofield ever since Covid times, when I saw their van delivering meals to customers when life was so difficult for so many. We finally went tonight and that caring community feel really comes through. Pleasant staff, prompt service, nice home cooked food. Excellent choice on the menu and prices are reasonable. We had lasagne and steak pie, both home made and both excellent. Nice beers on tap too. Highly recommend.
Amazing staff!!!

Excellent food and good service.
Thank you very much
A very lovely pub, very friendly, I was there as it was our base for performing at the wonderful Abergavenny carnival, a wonderful day was had! ??
Been coming here annually for 3 years now. The staff are such a good laugh, the drink is top notch and the food is tasty! Great beer garden out the back that catches the sun, perfect for popping in with bikes as they let you in the side door. Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: Veggie burger available
