A group of 30 of us descended on Vamos, 20 prebooked the rest being stragglers. The restaurant is well laid out for couples and large groups and easily catered for our needs.The staff were extremely helpful, attentive and engaging. The owner made regular visits her customers and the staff were a reflection of her.Food was great, I think we pretty much had every item on the menu and no one was disappointed. Presentation was great, food was tasty and hot with a good selection. A meal for 2 with 3 starters and both having run steak cost just over £50 (excl drinks), far too cheap for what we received in my opinion.I’d highly recommend Vamos to anyone visiting the area. Very reasonably priced, lovely people and great food (thanks chef).

Vamos by the River is an absolute gem of a find! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enchanted by the ambiance and warmth of the place. The menu offered some of tantalizing options, and the dishes we tried was a culinary delight. It's incredible that I even finished all my food - a testament to the deliciousness of their offerings!Despite the minor hiccup with the stained floor, which I'm sure can be easily rectified, the overall experience was nothing short of spectacular. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism added to the charm of the evening, making us feel truly pampered.Speaking with the owner was a highlight; her passion for their restaurant and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience was palpable. It's clear that every aspect of Vamos by the River has been crafted with care and attention to detail. She informed us that a new menu will become available from Wednesday and we're looking forward to enjoying it.We left with satisfied appetites and hearts full of gratitude for such a memorable evening. Without a doubt, we'll be returning to Vamos by the River for another round of delectable dishes, impeccable service, and delightful conversations. Fabulous and delicious lunch at VAMOS by the river today.We both had steak and eggs and were blown away by the quality of the steak and the beautiful way it was cooked, the eggs were perfect, together with fabulously decadent hash browns and a delicious peppercorn sauce. Sublime food, we will be back!Lovely server too. ?

Wonderful spot. Great food. Great Staff. Can not fault it. Food freshly cooked and tasty. Cocktails are sublime.I'd recommend Purple Rain.For the 3 of us with full main course each plus 4 cocktails it totaled £73.Will definitely come back and looking forward to see how the outside area comes alive in the summer, with flowing stream and outside decked bar area.It had a nice vibe in the main restaurant although we were there early so not many people. Simply decorated and furnished with comfortable seating.Looked at their function areas, surprising how much space there is. Nice smaller area downstairs and upstairs has a much larger area with stage and area for dj and has its own bar and toilets.I can't wait to go back when there's a full house.10 stars!

Really nice place, didn't eat just had coffee, do alternative milks which is excellent. Floor was odd I don't know if they were flooded or what but all staff lovely. Same price as anywhere else.

I visit regularly with my friend for coffee and cake, we always thoroughly enjoy it, atmosphere is lovely, staff always friendly and nothing is to much trouble, decor is modern and absolutely beautiful, they also have a gorgeous function room to hire out, we have attended Christmas and Easter events here and thoroughly enjoyed them, overall we love this place and bonus as it's very near to us too, literally 5 minutes away.
