The Six Bells Hotel

Whilst visting home town and looking for a Saturday night out - Six Bells Hotel was the evening of choice, as recommended on local comunity page. Lovely local pub, with nice people and friendly bar staff. Great that these community pubs still exist. Next visit to the area, I'll be dancing with the barman, he's got moves ??????????

1st time ordering today. Food was delivered quickly, hot and big portions. Ordered chips, fried rice chicken balls and sauces. Chicken balls were a good size and proper pieces of chicken. Would definitely order again ??

Church Street Fish Bar Abertillery

Just called in there earlier, only had pie and chips, service very friendly and chips were absolutely lovely. Place looked nice and clean, bit quiet but it was early maybe.
Will definetely go back if working in the area.

Rolling Mill

A charming little pub in the town centre.. recently has got a new landlord and I glad to say that it seems like a continuing pleasure to have pleasant polite, clean and comfortable.

For the first time in my life I had the best Burger was juicy, tasty, the way the flavors blend together, heavenly, since I found this fish bar, I haven't even gone to McDonald's I can recommend it to everyone

Lovely, warm and welcoming staff and customers. I can't rate the food as I didn't have any and believe it is currently only served at functions but Dawn had made some pasties which my 2 friends really enjoyed and I thought looked very authentic (I am vegan) The drinks are very cheap 2 X pints +G&T under £10. The Rugby club is coming back after an absence due to COVID/lockdown from September onwards . Come and support your local Rugby Club and support your local ?? ? A big thanks for making me so welcome

Five Star Fish Bar

This is my fiance's favorite fish and chips shop. The one owner there is NOT rude, she is to the point and they can get quite busy from time to time. Very affordable and delicious fish. I highly recommend! Portions are huge and quality is top notch~

Having read some mixed reviews all 4 of us were pleasantly suprised, clean well run pub, staff excellent and quick to clear tables, food piping hot and fresh, good atmosphere and lots of chatty people and staff.

Friendly staff in this small take away. Indian food in general is a little more costly than Chinese. Kebab. Chip shop and pizza that said the prices are not to bad. The food is have had is cooked to order for you so a little waiting is in stay bit for great food freshly prepared with fresh ingredients (as all Indian food is in my experience ) is worth it .But I have 1 dislike about the place they don't sell any goat dishes .I recommend you to go and treat yourself good night shall be had.

Food always piping hot, my son will only eat their pizza as he has just base and sauce nothing else, staff very friendly and always willing to accommodate with any order.

Best Kebab Abertillery

We always use this place and it's usually spot on, our favourite, however today, found plastic in one of our kebab wraps so very disappointed. I have taken photos but no option to post here!

N Joy Pizza

Best pizza and chicken in the area! Always good delivery times too so not waiting ages and polite delivery staff who ring us if we don’t hear the door if we are out the garden.

Spice Valley

Been in the area just over a year and we have tryed a few places and then finally got around to this place. Firstly all of the other takeways around Blaina and brynmawr most have been not very nice but I must say this was by far the best takeaway we have tryed so far!! Had the meal for 2 option. so a variety of dishes and must say they were all absolutely delicious. (and I'm abit of a fussy eater) so if you love indian this is by far the best around!

Abertillery Kebab House

We've found our new kebab place. We tried this takeaway last week and it was the first time in a long while that we actually enjoyed a kebab, a kebab that tastes as it should! Good classic lamb donner meat (not the cheap flavourless type or the spicy version that a lot of places seem to serve these days) and the chicken donner was decent sized slices and tasty too.
We ordered again tonight and it didn't disappoint, excellent kebab again.
The pizza was also good as were the chips.

Go Go Wok

Just had a great meal. 2 items I ordered I asked for changes to ingredients and my request was done with no issue at all.
Food was fast tonight, although they have always delivered within the given time in the past, and was hot, fresh and very tasty.

Yummies Kebab House

Visited here after delivering to a local business, amazing!!! They put that much in the box they struggled to shut it! Long, sumptuous belts of doner kebab, all well browned and offering a slight crunchyness. Nan bread was great, no grease in sight from the meat! Chilli sauce was great, definitely not shop bought. All the great ingredients for a lovely bab!Well done!! Keep it going ?
