Fish platter to eat in. What a big disappointment . My fish platter consisted of 2 prawns in batter, salmon fish cake, 2 tiny and I mean tiny fish goujons and lots of calamari in rings and chunks served with a portion of chips. I was waiting in anticipation as I saw several portions of fish and chips being served , I would call what I had more of a sea food platter. For £14 I was extremely disappointed. I must add the staff were lovely though.

Great service and GF fish and chips available which was a lovely change! They couldn’t have been more helpful with regards to dietary restrictions I’m gluten intolerant. Not sure it’s ok for coeliacs so you’d have to check

Beautifully clean tables wiped after every customer. Good variety of Breakfasts all with tea or coffee. I had a regular for only £6.00 hot and freshly cooked and the coffee is amazing. Always call in when i am in or passing through Aberystwyth. 10 out of 10 for everything

Had a take away, it was packed! The fish n chips were excellent, cooked to order and didn't have to wait very long. Lovely!

Walked in and noticed orders being taken at tables so took a seat. Ten minutes later we we about to walk out as staff too busy chatting. A young girl came over and took our order and the food arrived about 5 mins later. That’s when we began to wish we had walked out, the chips looked like they’d been cooked hours earlier. The fish however was very good that’s what the 2 stars were for. I had fish and chips and my hubby had fish cake and chips, the photo is of what we didn’t, sorry couldn’t eat. I tried putting ketchup on chips but unfortunately it was Heinz bottles filled with cheap runny ketchup.

Service average, food was alright, the batter on the cod was mostly soggy, the chips tasted just about acceptable, glad I purchased curry sauce to aid the eating of this meal. Wouldn't go rushing back.

We had take away of fish and chips. I would say the worse fish and chips we ever had it was un cooked , greedy and soggy. It's went it on the bin.

Our family dropped by on a Saturday evening for fish and chips. They had no problem catering for a gluten free member of the family and the regular fish and chips were lovely. The staff were great and service was quick.

First step in Abery, after arrived by train! We had english breakfast and fish and chips and fish with fish. Never disappointed! Lovely stafs and fab fresh food. My kids love them. When we come back, eat here again. Recommended.
