Walking around Aberystwyth, we came across Spartacus (one of the few places open at 08:30 in the morning, near the train station and stopped for breakfast. Friendly albeit slow service. Good quality wholesome food - though a tad pricey. Nice cafe latte. Overall a good experience. Only issue was the complete lack of customer toilets.
We came back to visit Aberystwyth after being at university here 15 years ago, was a long time to wait to taste these sandwiches again but was worth it. My favourite the coronation chicken hadn't changed at all and was as generously filled and as tasty as I remembered. Any chance you can share the recipe?! The bread was so crusty and just perfect. Thanks for a lovely lunch in a lovely place.
