A great place to stay if you are heading to Aberystwyth even if it's for a short stay. Clean fresh hotel rooms with tea and coffee condements. TV on the wall and a great shower. Service was good and the breakfast was enjoyable.

Overall, good hotel.Stayed over the Christmas period, and the location was fantastic. You do need to ask at reception each day you want room service generally. But the room service team are rather good. For example, when we left my partners plush crocodile in the bed while we had room service clean the room. They tucked in the plush back into the clean/tidied bed. As we had left the plush.Staff are friendly.Other things to know before going here, the car park entrance is at the back, and you pay for parking at the end of your stay, making sure to get a piece of paper with a QR code to get the cheaper parking, which end of 2023 was £4 a day.Rooms: Reasonable room. Stayed on the first floor, meaning straight forward access to front entrance. There was a vent that continuously made a light hum overnight. Separate from the air conditioning and fan for the bathroom.Nearby activities: Beach right in front of the hotel, hill walk just a little walk north, with a train up if you prefer, with café/activities at top of the hill. Open seasonally. Short walk around the corner to plenty of restaurants, takeaways, and shopeFood & drinks: Over expensive for the quality, would not recommend the hotel for any reasonably sized meal outside of something small, like the chicken tenders starter/Desserts

We had a lovely stay over Christmas. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating. The hotel left presents from Santa outside of our room door on Christmas Eve, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated by the kids! Our room was warm & quiet, with a fabulous view of the sea and promenade. Breakfast was cooked well and very nicely presented each morning. The hotel car park was convenient and worth paying for at only £4 per day.

Me and my kids stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas and we had a lovely time, location is litrally right on the sea front. Whatever we needed (cold milk for hot chocolate, directions, local advice ect) was sorted out right away, beds are comfy and it's very sound proof... we will definitely be returningRooms: Lovely clean spacious room with a view of the sea front right across the roadWalkability: 10 min walk from anything. The town, the pier, the clifftop railway, pubs, take out places its all easily accessible from hereFood & drinks: The restaurant was lovely and very accommodating. Staff were always friendly and smiley, food was amazing.... if you don't fancy eating in the in house restaurant then there are plenty of take out places nearby

Very nice Hotel ,very cosy, nice polite staff,we ate here for evening meal food was very good indeed. After a comfortable night's sleep we went for breakfast which was all you can eat, very nice indeed .Would stay here again ,great location ,you have to pay for the car park it's £4 for 24 hours which is not too bad at all,the car park can get very full during the evenings so park up early check in and walk everywhere if you can there are plenty of things close to the Hotel and within walking distance of the hotel .

Our first visit to Aberystwyth and not disappointed! First time booking a premier plus room, my husband and I in one room, our daughter in another..lovely to find us actually next door to each other, only slight niggle that we thought paying for premier plus may get you a sea view, not of a car park and frustrating to find windows don’t open! Thank goodness for spare pillows, who sleeps on only one pillow these days!? We booked in for breakfast for our 5 days stay and found it yummy and filling, great choice and selection, staff friendly who we saw, surprised to not actually see many staff around. Great location to shops and amenities, parking very reasonable and very welcome. We are already planning our next visit, thanks once again for a great break.
