“Love this place. I camped down the road. The welcome was warm and friendly. The food was honest and tasty and home cooked and just got better every meal I had there, culminating in the fantastic roast lamb Sunday lunch. I had the most delicious leek and potato soup to start with followed by roast lamb, mint sauce, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roast carrot, red cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower cheese and gravy, all home cooked and all incredibly delicious, with 2 glasses of red wine. My dog came along too to which they were all also very welcoming. The scenery around is stunning. I stumbled back to the campsite and slept it off. Fantastic place.”
