Trip down memory lane with two very tired children in tow to Mummy’s university town. Dropped into Rummers, having told them how much I used to enjoy the place back in the day before google reviews. It was very quiet on a chilly wet afternoon, but as beautiful as it ever was, with the perfect combination of traditional and quirky. The staff on duty today could not have been kinder. A very cosy and atmospheric pub with friendly and helpful staff. The interior design is excellent and adds to the historic feel of the building. The selection of drinks is not huge but it has everything one would want and more. Weekly promotions on drinks are also common. Very nice atmosphere for a more chill place to drink than some of the larger pubs near the town centre.
