Takeaway Chippys are not noted for their atmosphere, but the fish and chips were excellent as always. There is a pub next door if you need to pass the time while your order is prepared. There is a good online ordering system.

Chose this chippy as it was only one near that did gluten free batter. Felt that the batter not crispy enough and fish a bit wet. I would have loved a few more chips as just under £20 for two fish and chips, overall ok , didn’t think had best value for money.

The food is quite nice but the owner of this chip ship is most rude so I won't be going there again.

Disappointed with the chips, shop only just opened for lunch but rows of already cooked baskets of chips waiting to be re heated, hardly any full sized chips that were edible, mainly scrap ends, won't be going back anytime soon.

Absolutely lovely, my hubby and I said this is one of the nicest fish & chips we have ever had. We had asked for haddock as neither are big cod lovers but they didn’t have any. However what we got as in cod was really tasty and the batter was to die for. They also double cook the chips and these were really beautiful. I had a portion of fruity curry sauce with mine which alters the price to a boxed deal so that’s the way to go. So 2 x cod & chips and a fruity curry sauce cost £19.60. Would we go again omg ? yes. And the juicy benefit is it’s within walking distance from where we are staying the little piggery and it sits next door to a pub called the Adelphi that knocks out spectacular pies, mash, minty peas and gravy which our friends ate. Happy days. Not forgetting you have to wait a little because everything is cooked fresh to order.

Unfortunately the food here has just gone down hill over time. Was excellent but now the chips are awful the cod is really small for the price although we do like the crispy batter on the cod, the sausage is always really salty as are the peas and the curry sauce can be hit and miss, we have been regular customers for years but have now decided to go elsewhere where the food os really nice and cheaper and they serve a large cod.

Expensive for the size of the portion, really disappointing, the large fish was absolutely tiny for £10.10 i was expecting a larger cod but it was half the size of other chippies on anglesey not many chips either

We called here 2 years ago and thought that the fish and chips were lovely and good value for money. Today however we think differently! £19.10 for 2 regular cod and 2 regular chips. Really? The size of the cod was definitely smaller and the chips had a vompletely different taste. We won't be bothering again.

We always used to make this chippy a definte port of call, but sadly no more. The fish was nice but greasy, the chips didn't seem fresh, they were overcooked and again greasy. Also they were the most expensive fish and chips we've ever had. We won't be calling again ,which is sad.

The best fish and chip shop I've been to ? this place is amazing and I highly recommend and even better can order online so no waiting in queues it's ready as soon as I get there....

Come here regularly and never disappointed. Top quality fish and chips. Friendly and efficient staff.Highly recommended.Parking: Reasonable size car park right outside. Can get busy as both the chip shop and the pub next door are understandably popular.

Very nice fish and chips, but be prepared to wait. The fish is freshly cooked.

Cod was tasty and moist but somewhat smaller than expected. The fish were literally half the size of the fish at our go-to local chippy in Nottinghamshire! The potato scallops were tasty and the chips were fine. The mushy peas were a bit bland.
