Visited this bar this evening with friends. Was enjoying a nice drink ( fantastic range ) when asked to move from where we were sitting by group of students who wanted the space to themselves. As locals were quite annoyed when told that town wouldn't survive without them - hence implying they were more important. After somewhat heated discussion left and will not return.

It was absolutely amazing. Double vodka and mixer was £3.20. What a dream. Fantastic music, you could even queue what music you'd like with an electric duke box. Two pool tables, the lady behind the bar was so warm, welcoming and friendly. Very clean place and the ladies toilets were lovely and clean too. Definitely recommend.

Friendly environment, helpful staff, reasonable prices, all round great place.
I went yesterday, I was in and went out for 10 mins, came back and they were asking for ID and that they never saw me being inside the store. I showed them my student's card and my driving licence and they still refuses to let me in. I wouldn't go there again.

This is the worst place ever in Bangor. Staff are just a bunch of loud people, very unprofessional as you can clearly see them drinking with customers and getting drunk in the late evening.

Rascals is the small classic boozer that you want. Open till late and serves everything you need with a pool table. Cheap drinks, good staff and good vibes.

Terrible. A bunch of loud and unprofessional people seem to run this pub. You can just see staff drinking with customers and getting hammered by the end of their shift. In the whole street you can just hear them laughing out loud all the way through the night. They are even louder than the customers/students themselves when visiting. Disgraceful.
The best service in Bangor is Craig . Generally wanted him to come for a night out. And the drink are super cheap. Defo would recommend

I only go here once in a while, but on the whole OK.Friendly enough service with certain drinks at very reasonable prices. However though, I do feel the toilets could do with some refurbishment.

An average drinking venue, drinks are fairly cheap. Not a typical British pub, more a bar/loud music place for young people. Not recommended for couples, more for groups of friends. It is most definitely not a pub where you can go and have a conversation - the music is extremely loud. It is mainly frequented by students and local young people. Unfortunately there is sometimes fighting outside on the street involving drunken youths, which can be intimidating and unnerving. Rascals is a good place to go if you are on a pub crawl or are already a bit tipsy but probably not somewhere you would want to spend your entire night as there is no chance of interaction due to the loud music and it is often very busy. If you like Desperados, go here as it is the only pub in Bangor that sells it!
Went for a pool gameMet some lovely people there
