Jones' Pizza

Been meaning to go here for a while and a last minute change of plan meant we ended up here last night for a couple of take away pizzas. Pizzas were delicious, made quickly by friendly staff. But most of all they were well priced. We live closer to Llandudno than Bangor so our go to Pizzeria in the past has been Johnny Doughs, but we've not been going recently as they've increased their prices so much. Jones pizza even do a £5 margarita pizza deal, amazing! We'll be travelling a bit further in future for a better tasting, better priced pizza, with better service and a top atmosphere. Diolch yn fawr Jones pizza, top job! Our new favourite ?

Top man we phoned at 9.50 Pm not realised the time They close at 10.00pm we didn't realise at first,he said we could go and pick up the food but we had no way to get there as we have no ntransport so fairplay he is going to deliver the food for us which I find that ĺ)00

Antelope Inn

I called around 6:45 asking for a late minute booking (7pm) and Sam/Jason were extremely welcoming, held the kitchen open for us and reserved a table. Throughout serving us they were approachable and extremely quick. They offered student discount when they saw our university merch. Overall very happy! :)

We popped in for lunch after being at Zipworld. I had the chicken pesto pizza, which was brilliant with some mouth-watering rosemary and garlic fries. My partner went for the burger in a homemade bread bun and she loved it. The food was fresh, extremely tasty and served in a clean restaurant. I’d definitely save yourself the time of looking around and visit here!

Sunshine Take Away

They have a wide menu of Chinese and classic chipshop favourites. Excellent chips! They are freshly made to order, well-cooked so they are tasty, crispy, never soggy, and never greasy. There wasn't even a spot of oil on the wrapping paper. Service is always quick, pleasantly cheerful and polite. Their cod in batter is really good, again not at all greasy, and better value than some local chippies. Sunshine is open at lunchtime and in the evening, when most chip shops are shut. Recommended.Parking: Some spaces in a pull-in right outside. Don't double-park or on the pedestrian crossing lines

Clio Lounge

First time eating here, and it won't be the last. The food was lovely and the wait wasn't long.You order via an app at your table, which, was novel.Definitely worth a visit.

Bethesda Chip Shop

Not gonna lie, looked at the menu and thought: no way.Whenever theres a big, varied menu I think they cant pull it off, it must be bad.But we've worked our way through quite a few items, and can safely say that everything is BEAUTIFUL.It is always cooked perfectly, hot and tasty.My favourites are the wraps with some chips, and my partner loves the pizzas - they are the nicest pizzas going, not bad for a chip shop!The fish was perfect, the burgers were perfect, the kebabs were perfect, hell even the onion rings were perfect.You can't find a better catch-all takeaway anywhere.Always a lovely service too, we find it hard to abstain from ordering from here. It's addictive, but in a very good way.No doubt they will have another order from us by the weeks end... Its THE BEST!

Smashie’s Bangor

So, I recently tried Smashies in Bangor, and let me tell you, it was a tasty experience! The burger was absolutely lovely, with all the right flavors. And those chicken wings? Flavorful to the core! But the real star of the show was the jalapeno cheese bites. They were simply amazing! Now, I have to admit, the service was a bit slow, but the staff were super helpful and friendly. Overall, I had a great time at Smashies and would definitely recommend it for some delicious bites!

Mr Yummy Bangor Takeaway

I like Mr Yummy's ? very nice food, the salad is always fresh, with the kebabs. The owner and the co-workers are always very cheerful, and chatty. A bargain priced selection of family sized deals.

New venture by providing a takeaway or self service sit-down fish and chips etc, inside the pub. You order at the range servery, pay and are given a pager. Find a table, go to the bar for your beer, lager or non alcoholic drinks. Sit down, enjoy the local atmosphere and wait for the pager to beep!! Go back to the servery to collect you order in a quality cardboard boxes which is part of the experience. Large and small battered cod option and generous portion of homemade chips (not pre frozen). Within 150m of the pier, so a ñice walk before and after a bonus to the visit. Reasonable prices recommended. Mel

University Plaice

Vegetarian options: Best kebabs and veggie burger in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The food and the service is amazing. The takeaway restaurant has been serving since 1999 and still maintaining the amazing taste of all times. I wish a very all the best for the future too. ?

Best Kebab does what it says on the tin: delicious choice of kofteh, shish or doner kebabs (and more!) served with fresh salads and home-made naans, and always with a smile! The family are originally from Turkey so know their stuff. I am very glad they came to Bethesda. Free home deliveries if you spend over £10 - what's not to like!

Star Kebab and fried chicken

I think in Bangor this is the only decent takeaway. The food was good. Pizza is popular. Many variety of Chicken rolls and burger. We stayed in Bangor 3 nights and twice we have eaten her.

Stupendous service, all smiles and friendly demeanours, and decent greasy grub.The food is nothing special, but I felt like I stepped into a friend's house for a nice cheap burger and chips here. I've never been treated so politely at a joint like this before.I can't speak for delivery issues that others have reported, but the service for us was fast, efficient, and the food was actually TOO hot, but there wasn't any excess oil on the chips that's common in so many other takeaways.Absolutely wonderful little takeaway joint.It is worth noting that they only take cash in-store.Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal.

I'm about to depart Bangor and wanted to stop by before I leave. The food is outstanding, the tea and coffee selection is incredible, and the owners always greet you warmly! My all-time fave soup is Forest Mushroom Soup. Every time I eat it, it makes me nostalgic for home. Domu is the only thing about Bangor I'll miss! Love to the owners! ❤️

Fantastic food! Fantastic atmosphere! (and the menu had loads of items.) I was a little dishearted by the owner and his chef getting annoyed at each other. It was apparent they were arguing about some orders that came in all at once, but who doesn't have a rough patch every once and a while whilst at work. Overall a 5 star experience, my wife's first fish and chips in the UK. We will be back for more!Kid-friendliness: Loads of meal options to satisfy any preferences. They have a few signs saying to keep your kids under control.

Been here once before and we were pleasantly surprised so we came back. hubby had a small breakfast and I had a jacket potato with cheese and beans with a side salad also had a cornflake cake food pipping hot staff very friendly, all around a little hidden gem of a Caffè

Bar Uno

In our time as students so far at Bangor Uni, we have found Bar Uno to have a variety of good and bad qualities but what stands far above all of them is the Supervisor named Gaynor, she is a fantastic and positive staff member and she is by far above the rest in customer service skills and attentiveness , she is the driving force in the success of Bar Uno

Mountain Water Takeaway

I hadn’t been to this Chinese before last night, usually I would go down the road, but last night I just couldn’t be bothered waiting the 2hrs for the meal. I decided to take a chance on this one and wow we are so glad we did! It was bloody lovely! Great price, decent size portions could be slightly bigger as it’s so nice!! But seriously tasty food! We will definitely be returning again and again!! And I will be recommending to all.. if you haven’t been.. try it you won’t be disappointed! Thanks guys ☺️

Oh My Cod

On recommendation from someone else, I purchased fish and chips from here for myself and a friend who is ill in Ysbyty Gwynedd. The fish was cooked fresh while I waited, credit to the owners, the fish and chips were excellent.

Hung Hsing

Went here three times during a recent trip. Nice freshly cooked food, good size portions, quick service and great value for money. Food was very fresh and great flavour. Would recommend for sure!

Mike's Bites

This girl who has been allergic to milk her whole life was so excited to have her first milkshake. Thank you for putting this dairy free option on the menu, it was such a highlight for her.

The Harp Inn

Splendid and welcoming pub; very affordable drinks, humorous, friendly, and no nonsense staff. This place is what I believe all pubs should aspire to be like. Its a very welcoming environment for all manner of people. The bar staff, (namely Jess ) were very happy to make us customised cocktails, and held pleasant conversation in between serving other customers with lightning fast efficiency, it was really amazing.This may be the best pub in Bangor. Cheers to everyone fortunate enough to visit this place, its wonderful!

This place never changes (been going since school lunch break when i was 11), am now 38 living in Worcestershire and still return to my old haunt.Great value, speedy service and amazing food.Love the family xx

Pre ordered snd collected on time. Chicken curry, egg fried rice and special chow mane, free prawn crackers. Very tasty, will visit use again next time when we are in the area.

Bangor Chinese Takeaway

You must visit this takeaway!We got so much food and the price was unbelievable, extremely reasonable.Chicken Satay was gorgeous and the salt & pepper chips.

Rascals Cafe Bar

It was absolutely amazing. Double vodka and mixer was £3.20. What a dream. Fantastic music, you could even queue what music you'd like with an electric duke box. Two pool tables, the lady behind the bar was so warm, welcoming and friendly. Very clean place and the ladies toilets were lovely and clean too. Definitely recommend.

Nelson Pub

Lovely medium sized pub, the staff were very friendly and polite the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming, they had a good range of pub activities such as darts and pool.

Dee Dee's Family Cafe

Visited with a couple of friends on Saturday afternoon. Although it was busy we were served with perfectly done toasted teacakes. Really good mugs of tea as well. Thank you
