I got a delivery.Very sadly it was ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!First attempt the bhuna was chip shop curry with chunks of lamb. Half an hour later they delivered the bhuna.Food is very ‘supermarket curry’ like.My vindaloo lacked everything a vindaloo should have. Was nowhere near hot and had no flavour. I’ve never had a curry where the chicken was ripped to bits by hand and not chopped (lazy chef). Lamb bhuna was bland and tasted like a 70’s chip shop curry.Sag aloo was the worst I’ve ever had on my 35 year indian food journey.I won’t be ordering from here again. It’s clear the standards in people that consume curry in Blackwood is non existent, and as a result the standards of the four curry houses has fallen through the floor. There is not a half decent curry house here now. What a shame.I live in London, and travel the world eating at different places.I will never order curry in Blackwood again as there is nothing good available. Stay away from Ajantha, order a pizza or kebab instead to avoid dissapointment.

I have never seen such a bad place for delivery service. Rang before 7pm because their delivery service is notoriously bad and it still took them 2hr20m from a little over a mile away.Polite fella on phone to be fair, the reason why it was taking so long was apparently the drivers fault, so gave it another half hour and rang again, then it was because they are very busy - wellll that is not my fault, if you're to busy stop accepting every single order because you can not handle it, the quickest I've ever had food delivered from here was just over an hour and half wait...The food I think it's the nicest Indian around, but my chicken in my curry was Luke warm yet keema naan was piping hot ...Sorry guys,Stop blaming the drivers

Don't bother with this place. Our food is already 40 minutes late and they're still waiting for the driver. Its a shame the food is quite good you just need to order it an hour before you want it.

Food was beautiful, only problem was I ordered a vindaloo and it had absolutely no spice to it.

Absolutely awful food, Korma was so spicy the children couldn't eat it. The chicken tikka massala was even more spicy so couldn't be eaten; coconut rice had no coconut and was so spicy; Chicken Saag on fire so couldn't be eaten. Have had all these meals from Indians before never spicy. Only thing we could eat was the naan bread. Everything had to go in the bin such a waste of money.

Ordered a takeaway from Ajantha to be delivered and was told it would be with us in one hour. Hour and half later rang to check our order hadn't been forgotten and was told it had was leaving the shop at that very momentary would be with us within minutes. Another half hour later it arrives cold with no apology just more lies!
I love this place, delivery can be slow but food is the best around here.. If you don't have the pakora is a side - you're doing wrong ?

Called after 1 hour was told my food would be 15 minutes. Called 40min later and was told its black friday and i live a long drive away even though i live 13 minutes away. Terrible service.

Sad to say it, we were really looking forward to our food but it was really quite disappointing. Its the first time we've ordered from here, but I don't think we will be back. The food was cold, the chips were dried up, the curry was so runny it was like soup. Not for me sadly :(
