If you like those new Karen Diners with unfriendly and more worryingly unsafe practices then this place is for you. I understand that not all places have baby changing facilities and we worked around that. However, to put my 9 month old baby in danger by standing over her with 4 hot cups of tea and then to look at her as though she was in your way i found to be the most shocking. From the moment we walked in we were confronted by this older woman who seemed to have a lot of issues. The bacon sandwiches were ok but that wasn't the reason we were left with a sour taste in our mouth.

Such an amazing cafe on the outer part of Barmouth. Such amazing music though and for once isn't yet another fish and chip shop!!! The good is decent and not too expensive.A rare gem of a place in the midst of so many other bad takeaways! Grateful for just sitting and listening to the amazing playlist you had on!!

For those familiar with the name please do not be mistaken for thinking its still run by the previous owners. When it was, the food quality, service, atmosphere was fantastic. Went today and was met by a very abrupt woman. Menu is poor as is the rude note at the counter, stating that their menu is their menu and don't basically cater for people with certain food intolerants. Sandwich was a very basic cheese and pickle sandwich with stale Crisps. No choice of bread or anything to make the thing a little more fancy, given the £6 paid for it. I genuinely thought at one stage I was in one of those new Karen cafes which helped as when service and food is that poor, you can just laugh and expect nothing less. Only one staff member behind the counter met us with a warm, friendly smile which I thank her for. Please just try a little harder. A smile and warm welcome makes people feel invited. As for the menu, perhaps a little more than cheep white bread wouldn't go afar even during these difficult times.

Rude staff! Took my milkshake back twice as warm. Staff were arguing about it got our money back and never ate. After speaking to locals no one recommended this place.

Food was a small portion but of good quality. But the cafe has a very strict regime for some unknown reason. If you would like a taste of if Germany won the war then come here and give it a try.

Can’t really pass comment on the food as we never made it past an extremely rude women who stopped us in our tracks and clipped a rope across the door, saying in a very aggressive manor that we would not be allowed in until the tables had been cleaned. I understand what she is saying but there is a polite any friendly way to speak to people. I definitely won’t be setting foot in there again and wouldn’t recommend that anyone else does if you don’t want to be humiliated.

Called in for coffee yesterday ..Had to wait in the doorway there was a rope across the door .Took a while for eye contact with the assistant waiting on tables..We asked if we could come in for a drink ,we were asked if we would be eating we said not sure till we looked at the menu! ..reluctantly we were let in..Our drinks came to the table in the space of what 10-15 of us sitting there 15 people stood at the doorway and no one went to them so they walked away ... Never been in an establishment like it ..Although the lady clearing /cleaning tables was nice enough..Won’t be visiting again ...Although it was spotless inside and nice decor ..Customer service needs to be worked on I’m in the same environment and this experience wasn’t good..

I called in here for my breakfast yesterday as my guest house didn't do food. Lovely friendly people running it and a really great breakfast with good portions... quite probably going to call in again today for another before I head off on my travels.
