The vin rouge was excellent and can recommend the Roast Beef which came with a Yorkshire Pudding and potatoes/veggies. The Creme Brulee was excellent to finish. Would definitely come back and try the Evening Menu.

King Edward St, BarmouthSuperb food that is really good value for money. The Royal are the last place in Barmouth that raise their prices each year. But the quality and quantity is always above average and the service is always excellent. We live locally and this is our go-to for dinner out.

The Barmouth Bar @ Grill
Church St, BarmouthI've now had the pleasure of staying at the Barmouth Bar & Grill twice in the last 12 months.
We just got back home today and I'm already planning on returning in the summer.
For us Barmouth is a lovely day out, with 3 small children and a 2 and a half hour drive home it makes things easier if I book a room.
The rooms here are exceptionally clean and spacious, I've stayed in the family room on the top floor twice with my children which has 2 huge beds that are very comfortable and the large bathroom with walk in shower and 2 sink units is immaculate.
The only thing missing in the room is coat hooks!!!!
Regarding the food I've only ever had breakfast as it's included in the price of the room, the menu has a good variety and is well cooked

Goodies
33 High St, BarmouthPopped in after a good walk along the beach and around the dunes.
Good variety of beverages on offer, in addition to a good selection of cakes.
Ordered a pot of tea for two and a slice of Tiramisu topped chocolate cake.
Tea arrived in a large pot, that provided more than one cup each, and the cake was delicious.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere very relaxed.
Will definitely call in again, when we're in the area, and highly recommend.

Norbar Seafood Restaurant
Llanaber, BarmouthLex and Sean did a great job at facilitating everything we asked for, they were very attentive and did great at creating a welcoming atmosphere on our honeymoon.
The food was fantastic I’d highly recommend the salted beef and the hash brown starter!

The Quay, BarmouthPopped in for a bacon n egg sandwich and cupa tea . Food quality outstanding aka more of a premium cut of bacon ,and egg was cooked to perfection. Would recommend to all who vist Barmouth. Very perlite staff friendly atmosphere. If I could could 6 stars I would.

The Mermaid
Jubilee Rd, BarmouthPopped in because we didn't realise the pub had shut for a refurb and glad we did. Food was freshly cooked while we waited. Service was great. Staff were friendly and chatty. Premises were clean and welcoming. If we are ever back in Fairbourne, we will definitely order from there again.

The Promenade, Beach Rd, BarmouthVisited today for a bite to eat. Two sandwiches with salad, tortillas and coleslaw with 2 cans of pop set me back just under £20 which was a bit eye watering. The meals took a while to come out, however the meals were nice. Staff were friendly.

1 King Edward St, BarmouthWe spent a few days in Barmouth after Christmas and had fish & chips from here and they were absolutely lovely! The fish was massive with a light batter and the chips were chunky and no grease on them whatsoever, our portions very generous we couldn't eat it all! Staff were friendly too while we waited for our food to be cooked. We will definitely visit again next time we're in Barmouth!
