Friendly service. There was a group of us who sat in for food. All of our food was great and thoroughly enjoyed. The chips were so tasty and I liked that the food was not greasy.

Standard fish and chip fare, nice chips and lovely cod. Generous portions and fair prices. Eat in and Takeaway. Great location with lots of benches opposite to sit and eat your takeaway. There wasn't a queue when we arrived, but was one when we left.

We had a large plate of chips here with the kids, mainly to get out of the rain and use the facilities. Unfortunately they were probably the worst chips we've ever eaten from a chippy, they were lukewarm and very much like cardboard.

Excellent fish and chips and great service. Nice sized children's meals. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and was a nice find after a day on the beach.
Went on Sunday afternoon 6/8/23 , very quick & friendly service ordered haddock & chips & piece of cod had to wait 5 mins which staff did inform , not a problem while fish was cooked from fresh & well worth the small wait it was , I've eaten alot of fish & chips on my travels around the world in my lifetime my first time in Barmouth which I loved , but got to be in my top 5 at least absolutely beautiful keep it up guys well done ?.

The dolphin is just as good as the mermaid but without the crazy queues! Lovely fish n chips. We took our meal out but you can sit in.The dolphin is on a main road & you need to be careful of the traffic going past if you're waiting outside for your food as we were.Parking in the co-op & walking to the dolphin is probably the best option as there's nowhere to park outside.Very reasonable price & good service. We'll be back next time we visit ?
