“I've been enjoying fish and chips at the Mermaid since I was a young child, I visit Barmouth frequently and I wouldn't use any other chippy, the food is amazing, the staff are wonderful and polite. The food is so fantastic that I've happily waited in line for a long time because I know I will never ever be disappointed. A family run business committed to it's customers and community too, what can I say other than endorse endorse endorse!”

“Always fresh, tasty food. Lovely staff and always welcoming. We visit Barmouth every year for a couple of weeks, and every year we make sure to have a couple of takeways from here.”

“Good donner meat and chips (not fries ?) unfortunately they had sold out of the chicken, was good but too much sauce, next time think ill take my out preference for hot sauce but the food was a good standard for a chippy, good selection of slushies in the summer.

Parking: Road side parking if you can find it or abandoned it and risk it, should be OK at night though, don't think I've ever seen a warden out at night”
