Min Y Mor is a fabulous hotel, situated yards from the beach and sea, good rooms, amazing food, friendly welcoming staff.

Had a lovely IPA with dad on a sunny Autumn day after a walk on the beach.

Just an overnight stay. recommended by people who have worked here. Very polite front of house. Efficient and kind. Friendly smiling faces make all the difference. Very knowledgeable about local hostelries. Breakfast was great piping hot and delicious. Just needs a little upkeep, but otherwise excellent.

I went for food for my 21st birthday on Saturday, I live 2 hours away and the whole car journey home Sunday I was sick by the time I got in bed Sunday night I had been sick 10 times, had shivers and a fever! After seeking medical advice I’d been told I had food poisoning. The food had clearly been reheated not made fresh but that wasn’t the biggest problem, the food was obviously contaminated and I’d love to know what the kitchen looked like. Will be contacting the council to make them aware and get the proper checks put into place.

My favourite view in the beer garden in Barmouth. Lovely Hotel.Nearby activities: Close to town, lots of walks nearby and excellent location, service 5 stars.Walkability: Barmouth flag walk and panoramic and coastal walks on the doorstep.Food & drinks: Lots of variety at great hotel bar and food is lovely.

Nice quiet hotel .great location . Lovely friendly helpful staff. Rooms are a great size with plenty storage and a great selection of biscuits with tea/coffee facilities. Beds very comfortable with extra blankets/ throws in wardrobes. Definitely worth another visitWalkability: Great walk into town . Right near the beach

Would not stay there again. Not 4 star.Housekeeping non existent. Dirty cups in room with lipstick. No lights above mirrors for hair or makeup. No information booklet in room. Dirty black mould in shower. Nice breakfast but poor choice of items. Very limited. Toilet brush needs replacing.Evening meal was excellent. We left after 2 days although we had booked for 4. Not anywhere near our usual standard for 4 stars.Walkability: Easy to walk into town.

Was given wrong room they wouldn't swap it. Room was very tired badly painted furniture, no chairs to sit on, mattresses poor condition they rolled to one side. Only redeeming feature they lent me a wheel chair when I damaged my ankle badly.

Great location ..pity the place has gone downhill. Ok weather not great.. but outside garden area was untidy with outdoor pods very dirty on insides lots of litter and other stuff which looked like it had been then a while .. it doesn't take much to have a quick check.. and clean up a bit of litter..then being told food from 3pm.. strange time.. many people just walking away not even stopping for a drink .. Used to be a great place..

Loving the refurbishment in the beer garden - the new furniture and shelters look great . Did not enjoy the new piped music that was loud and badly amplified around the usual peaceful area- where most people sit to relax and enjoy the sound of the sea
