Service very poor. When we walked in, the owner of the cafe ignored us and carried on sitting down talking to a friend. We eventually got served when a bigger group of people came in behind us. We ordered 3 hot chocolates @ £5 each, a little tummies hot chocolate @ £3.20, a can of pop and a flat white coffee which totalled £24. Very expensive for 6 drinks. Our order came out wrong. Only 1 adult hot chocolate came out, which was cold so got sent back, 2 kids hot chocolates and missing one drink all together. When asked where the 2 missing adult hot chocolates were, only 1 was brought out (so still 1 missing) this was then rectified, but no apologies at all.Overall, very expensive and service wasn't up to scratch. Could be made into an excellent cafe, with the right people.

Not the best lunch experience. Service was incredibly slow, and our order wasn’t fulfilled as requested. One star for the reasonable coffee. They need to step up their game.

The place itself feels a little dated but the food and drinks were very good and service was absolutely brilliant. Staff are extremely friendly and treat everyone like they've known them for years. Will definitely go back for the sconesDietary restrictions: Gluten free options are great

I was viewing the menu here when Ted the owner asked me what I was looking for. I asked if they did bacon sandwiches, and Ted said he'd make me one. Inside, I met Hazel, and had a lovely bacon sandwich and cup of tea, whilst chatting to Ted. All whilst they prepared to open. They both made my day. Please visit this cafe these people are lovely and deserve to do well in their new venture.

Stopped here for something to eat,Bacon sandwiches and two coffees, cafe only half full,8 people plus us two, coffees took 20 mins too arrive,40 mins later still no food, when I asked, they could not find the order, eventually found it in the tray with completed orders,4 people behind the counter,1 just wandering in and out talking to customers, even sat down at one point, never been in such a disorganised, cafe,do not bother if you have other things to do.when food arrived ,we were surprised, who puts orange melon and grapes, plus salad and coleslaw with a Bacon sandwich??,pretentious ,sort your service out .

One could not find a more delightful, welcoming cafe and of course the food etc was well worth it and opened on a Sunday too! Hopefully it won't be too long before I return.

This little cafe used to cater so well in the allergen free cakes but now I do feel like since new management have took over it is not as well catered for, which is such a shame as I did feel like this was the only cafe in Barmouth that catered for my allergies and I used to love going in for coffee/cake/snacks. I just hope these reviews get read and they take the comments onboard.

Here you will find without any doubt the most friendly people of all the places in Barmouth where you can get a good cup of coffee. The cake is delicious and the service superb. This is why you go to Barmouth ?So please, when you see the owners walk up the steep streets to go home, do give them a hand with the stuff they're carrying. You might get a coffee the next day ??

A nice coffee and food stop, although seemed more expensive, and alterations from our visit last summer have, to our minds, taken some some of its' character

Great little spot in the centre of bustling Barmouth on a Sunday. Lovely coffee, fab milkshakes and delicious cakes and warm scones, as well as yummy g/f cake!
