Used to love stopping in cadwalders for coffee and food. On my last visit just last week I saw in the window your venue is now card only. So I just walked away and gave my hard earned cash to another establishment that gave me the choice.

Have been to this cafe several times service and food always good but dissapointed today Ordered sandwiches with garnish on brown bread, came with white bread no garnish £5.95 when complaining was told should have asked for garnish, which previously came automatically. What is on the menu should be served.

Unfortunately today was a zero mark up from me. I love Cadwaladers, it's usually very dog friendly and so are the staff.. The place is not 100 % clean... Could be down to lack of staff.... However when I called in today for just a coffee, the young lady who was serving mega stressed out, apologised that I would have to wait as she was preparing 2 food dishes... This I didn't mind as she was on her own.... 10 mins later she asked me what I wanted. I asked for a latte. She told me there was only decaff as the filter machine was not working.. Anyway, off to Marc's.. Not her fault of course but cor blimey, what's occurring ?

Been to a few Cadwaladers and the ice cream is always excellent. Today was no exception.Mint choc chip is still my favourite though the pistachio is a very close second.

Have been visiting for many years and witnessed a gradual decline in the quality of service and the state of the interior/seating/tables etc. We were unhappy about being carelessly served with a cup swimming in a coffee filled saucer (no apology, just handed a stack of napkins for us to mop up), to which we then accused of being 'rude'. I, sadly, had to explain the difference between being 'rude' and an entirely justified being unhappy, but I'm pretty sure I was just viewed as a difficult customer to be ignored. They have had a good deal of my money in the past, but we won't be visiting any more. The staff need a little more customer service education, and be taught on how to actually provide table service

As an elderly lady, I struggled to walk to Cadwallers today in the rain. When I got there at 2:40 I was promptly told that they close at 3pm. If you are going to close 1½ hours early please amend your website. I won't make that mistake again.
