We had a booking for 6 adults and a baby, from the minute we stepped into the restaurant the staff went above and beyond to make our Christmas Day perfect. Food was delicious and very well organised with no issues at all. Staff friendly, funny and very helpful. Especially Jackie & Paul. Big thank you and we can’t wait to return.

Fantastic from start to finish, lovely welcome followed by lovely food, so good that we’ve booked the whole family back in tomorrow..

The Bull used to be the epitome of perfection of a pub, with a very good bistro at the back. Everything absolutely spotless, staff in green aprons and the bar room polished and immaculate. It always looked as if it had fallen in from 1930 and was like an immaculate working museum. Going there was an absolute pleasure and people came from far and wide. Now it is shoddy and unloved, and the grubby ketchup bottles on the bar room tables optimise the complete drop in standards. Holes in the plaster, and a big screen TV on one wall. How the mighty are fallen. It's just another grubby pub.

The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was made with good quality ingredients, not greasy and well presented, (although the bacon was hard and chewy). The bed was good quality and comfortable, supportive but not hard, the room was clean. The room was a different matter. Initial impressions of trying to look traditional was spoilt by the modern white painted wardrobe, as no attempt had been made to blend it in with the rest of the room. Whilst designed to look good, the room was hopelessly impractical. The biggest issue was having to move furniture to get to the plugs for charging the phone, and either move furniture or scrabble on the floor under the table to plug in the hairdryer. There was a seat for hair and make-up, however the mirror was so high on the wall, you couldn't use the seat and mirror together. An older, less fit or able person wold really have struggled completing normal tasks in this room. In the bathroom, the pump bottles for soap and lotion were crammed into a metal 'basket', but due to poor fit, this made it more difficult to use the pump without moving them to a hard surface. In the shower, the pump bottles are placed on the wall close to the shower, However to use them you have to put your hand through the water to collect soap or conditioner. This is made worse for a left-handed person; anything on your hand is mostly washed off when you can't avoid withdrawing your hand through the water. The pump bottles themselves are not designed for multi re-use and durability, and no one seems to check that they are still working properly. The impracticability and lack of attention to detail, for what is marketed as one of their better rooms, does not warrant the price being charged. Poor value for money and totally lacking a luxury experience.

We’ve recently spent a weekend in Beaumaris and ate in The Bull each night. There’s a snug little bar with a lovely open fire. Wish we could’ve found a table in there but it was too busy and we were thirsty for a pint. You can eat at the tables in the front bar if you can grab a table. Both nights we sat and ate in the restaurant at the back of the building. The restaurant looks like it’s recently been built or has had a big makeover . Looks like it was money well spent. Its very different to the front bar. It’s not as traditional and perhaps not as cosy but very comfortable in its own way. We’d suggest booking a table in the busier months - even in November it was busy. There’s a lot of building still going on. Looks like the lounge bar is being renovated. If it’s to the same level as the restaurant it will be very comfortable There’s two menus - the normal one and daily specials. The menus explain that all choices are cooked to order. There’s something for everyone’s tastes. For us the standout dish was the braised beef pie. It was the best meal we’ve had in a long time. Being nosy every plate that came out of the kitchen looked good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed away from our table after our plates were cleared away. . There are bound to be cheaper places to eat locally but you get what you pay for - all of our meals were spot on; especially the beef pie!

Lovely pub, open fire, drinks great and gorgeous welcoming restaurant in the back. We had a super meal here tonight and the staff were fantastically lovely. We visited with my autistic son and Jacqui, was so kind and accommodating . He loved her and said he wanted to come back tomorrow. This is the boy who never wants to eat out !! Thank you for making our evening out so easy and relaxing ???

We were staying close to Beaumaris and chose to eat here for a meal one night. We were so lucky that we did. The host was so friendly and helpful and when asked about gluten free she gave us lots of information. The food was fantastic, everyone's plates were clean. I had the fish pie and it was amazing. The atmosphere was great and we will definitely eat here again. Thank you so much.

Excellent customer service: asked for something out of the ordinary, and response was exceptional. (Atlantic Beer a great hit)

Visited a few years ago and stayed overnight. Remember enjoying our stay especially drinks in the bar and offered a selection of gins. This time we visited with our dog and sat in the very comfortable lounge. Just very surprised that they only stock one dry gin! The young lady serving had no idea how to serve a gin. Poured it without saying which gin it was, added ice & lime without asking if you wanted it then poured in a whole bottle of tonic. Surprised that this place has been taken over as others we have come across which surely should be more up to date with everything. Shame.

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch at The Bull, beef, Yorkshire pud, roasties, veg & plenty of gravy. It was delicious & we would highly recommend this restaurant as the staff are very nice too.

Gorgeous Hidden Gem. Almost wouldn't know it was here if it wasn't for a recommendation by a family friend. We came to celebrate a birthday and were pleasantly surprised by absolutely everything. Welcomed and served by Ade and Adam, the atmosphere and decor were great, food amazing and service 10/10. We had the Pork and Beef Roasts, Bull Burger and Veggie Lasagne. None of us could fault any part of our individual meals. From drink recommendations at the bar to just the right amount of attentiveness at the table, service was on point. We were surprised to find a number of staff were only a few weeks in to working here, as everything seemed to run seamlessly. We'll definitely be returning and trying out other locations of the brand around the island. The only slight change we would suggest is the ability to book a table, as we'd want to guarantee our place at this lovely restaurant every time.

Nice comfortable room. Breakfast was good but the server had to work hard as he was by himself. Evening food was good pub food. The lower bar always took time to be served. Very nice lounge, and old bar area to enjoy drinks. It is not quite as good as when I stayed a few years ago so 4 stats. Still very good and would stay again.

Popped into this great pub for a bite to eat. My friend and I had the Vegetable curry soup, it was so tasty, gorgeous crispy onions and mango fritter topping it served with crusty bread and we shared a bowl of piping hot hand cut chips. The service we received was A1, engaging us in conversation just perfect. The pub oozes history whilst being very stylish too. Thoroughly recommend.
